I'm going SHORT! Got cute hairstyle pics? I'm cutting my hair this weekend! I'm kinda scared but excited. I've got curly hair that is down the middle of my back, all one length and I think i'm going to cut it just above shoulder length. Does anyone have any cute hairstyle pics?

I don't think my hair is in good enough shape to donate. One of the reasons i'm getting it cut off, it's so dry.

If your hair is as curly as I am mentally picturing, a short hair cut could be more of a pain than it is worth. I have thick wavy hair, and when I had a bob it just fro'd out and I hate straightening my hair because of the damage it causes.

Good luck finding a style that you want. You can always ask hubby to see what he has in mind.

my hair is actually naturally curly and i straighten it every morning. I have a CHI flat iron (or straightener same thing) and it works super well and gets really hot so your hair wont fro out. The CHI is the only flat iron i have found that really straightens my hair because my hair is so fine that it gets a lot of static but with the chi iron it doesnt YOU have to remember your not supposed to use any kind of heat on your hair without product. Like heat protecting product. My hair doesnt look damaged at all and when i tell people that i straighten it every morning everyone tells me how you cant even tell since my hair doesnt look damage. Even using hairspray with a flat iron is better than using nothing. Last edited by Txgurl06; 10-22-2007 at 04:25 PM.

I also flat iron my hair daily with no damage..the key is a REALLY good flat iron (please dont try the cheapo's they burn your hair)...anyhow thats not what this thread is about lol..is your hair naturally curly or permed?? I defintely think pics would help...Im glad your not cutting it off really short...I did that one time when I was pregnant and cried when I got home..Ive always had long hair but now I keep it just past my shoulders and I have straight hair with a tiny bit of wave..layers help too and look awesome when flat ironed...if you have natural curls..I envy you!! My good friend has the most awesome natural curls and flat irons it smooth also...so lucky she can go both ways if she likes!! Dawn

| Congrats! I just cut mine. I don't have a pic to show, but to give an image, it was just under my chest, now its above the ears in a cute flip with a long bang. I love it! and its sooo managable! The key with curly hair, is just dont try to pick a style that is intended for fine hair...thats all. Magazines helped me out BIG time
