| The new "juke" http://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/s...edPhoneId=3300 We get new phones in January! Finally! Yay! I was trying to decide between the LG enV and the Chocolate (black cherry). Then I saw this juke thing. It seems really narrow, plus it doesn't flip open or even slide up, it "swings out". I'm not sure if I like that. On the other hand, it seems to have everything else I want at a less expensive price than the other two. Phone shopping is hard. That's why I figured if I get to get a new one in January, I'd better start shopping in October. LOL

| Cool phone! But keep looking! I know that Tmobile just came out with two new phone models, and so did Sprint! So who knows what will be out and affordable by January! But you are so right in looking now and comparing specs. I sell phones in a Sprint/Nextel store, but am still a Tmobile customer because I LOVE my Sidekick 3. Just my humble opinion, but I don't like phones that are also mp3 players. If I play ONE song on my phone, it drains my battery time by two hours! So that is something to consider! If you are using it as an mp3 player and drain your battery, then not only can you not listen to music, but you also can't send and receive calls and texts! I am also a big fan of PDA phones, whether it is a Sidekick, a Treo, a Blackberry, etc (there are so many!) I am so much more organized and on top of things because I can store so much more information on my phone! I have a calendar, upcoming events, to do lists, a notes section, a budget calculator, a weather and radar program, aim, msn, and yahoo messenger, a paint program to edit pictures, a web browser (for YT on the go) and email! I also have all the typical features, like a camera, text messaging, mp3 player, phone and address book, calculator, etc. Just think about what features you really want and don't want, what other things you keep with you (like a paper datebook), and how you want to combine them on your mobile device! There are so many phones that have ALL the bells and whistles, so there is definitely one that will cater to your lifestyle! Hope the advice helps, and you get something that you like and will last you for a few years! Best of luck!

| I didn't realize that about the mp3 player phones. I already have an ipod so I guess I'll keep searching. I LOVE t-mobile so maybe we will go back to them. I've been dying for a sidekick! We will definitely be staying with either verizon or t-mobile though. Reception is awful with anything else out here. Let the search continue!

| They just came out with two new versions of the Sidekick! They are smaller and one has a slide screen instead of a flip screen. They also have cheaper versions of the SK in different colors that don't have the mp3 player or camera. I get a lot of flack for not being a Sprint customer since I sell Sprint service, but the SK only runs on the Tmobile network, so I'm not switching anytime soon! Plus with any internet capable phone, you have to pay extra on top of your plan, for instance, to run a blackberry you have to get a 40 dollar data package. But the Tmobile Sidekick package is only 20 bucks a month and that includes unlimited text messages, emails, instant messaging, and browser usage. I spend all day on websites comparing phones and packages, and since you've narrowed it down to two companies, you will have less to look through. I like to say that my Sidekick tells me where I need to be and what I need to be doing at all times. I just do what the Sidekick tells me to! And I'm more efficient because of it!

| I love my t-mobile service but I think others have cooler phones. I'm not much for the MP3 thing. I bought my daughter a new one this summer with all that and she dropped it in water. It works but she can't remember the password to the memory card so she can't access her music anymore. Defeats the purpose of the MP3 phone. Sucks too, because I didn't insure it. T-mobile says they can't reset the password because it's a security password, she's screwed until she remembers it. They might have considered exchanging it but won't because it was dropped in water.

| Yeah, it depends on the area you live in. In Wichita, KS, Tmobile was the largest network, so the service was great. Now, here in TX, Tmobile isn't as popular so the service isn't as great. It is different in every area.
