| Travellers? Where do you buy cheap airfare? I am planning a trip to Beijing (alone) in December and it is unbelievable -- $900-1400 with layovers and stops! Where have you been abroad? Also, if you've been to China, tell me about it. Please! What do you love/hate? Thanks, Kristy

| I would suggest to go to the airline websites first. We use itravel2000.com lately. I got my in-laws a better deal to Hawaii through them than the airline. I booked the hotel through the hotel chain. Sometimes it works out much better booking the flight and hotel accomidations cheeper. Even better be a guest of some one ! *giggle*

Most dishes tasted very bland to me. I am not in to bean curd. You can see some of my pics from china at http://www.picturetrail.com/cynthia In the Asia album. If you don't want to travel alone you may find someone that you could meet up with to site see or travel with at travelchums.com but then you have to be very careful that you don't hook up with some nut case *grin*

I think the plane tickets are going to China is going to cost you about that much. Probably can find it cheaper on months that people don't travel much but December is one of the biggest traveling month. | |

| My passport would only show travels from the US to the Philippines and back. The last vacation was the most stressful one ever! My pomeranian traveled with us(pickles, my lil yorkie wasn't present yet) and because of some confusion between the travel agent and the airline, I threw a fit at the LAX because they told me my baby wasn't allowed in the cabin with me. My husband and I spent close to $7000 for a round trip fare business class, thinking that our pom would travel in cabin. Well, they informed me that they just changed their policies. I was crying at the check-in counter because the manager didn't seem to sympathize with us. She just shrugged and said NO. It was the most exhausting and emotionally draining experience of my life. They upgraded us to first class but I was crying the whole trip because I felt so bad that my baby wasn't with us. I'm just lucky that I raised a good and strong boy He was spoiled rotten in the Philippines!!! All of my friends and relatives adored him! And I would never ever fly with that airline ever again! |
