| Went To Doctor To Have Breast Lump Checked! Well, as you all know about my last post I had found a lump in my breast. I finally got to see the doctor. She thought it was a Fluid Filled Cyst but to make it safe I am having an Ultrasound and Mammagram done next week. So keep praying but so far its good news! She was really good an checked me all over. So still say prayers for me. I do feel a little better than I did. Thanks everyone on YT! Brenda-Max-Bobo-Libby-Max |

| Good luck to you. I found a lump about 2 yrs ago. Had a mammo and an ultrasound. Its nothing but a node that inflames w/certain times of my hormone cycle. Think positive - I am sure you will be okay! |

| I've had three lumps removed in the last 10 years. all have been benign but I always err on the side of caution. My mom and my baby sister both died from breast cancer. My sisters lump did not even show up on a mammogram and my mom's was prior to mammo's. I have a wonderful doctor who I believe certainly extended my sisters life as the radiologist who read her mammogram said she had as much chance of having cancer as having the roof fall on her head (she was only 22). But the surgeon was concerned and wanted to remove it. Thank god he did as it was cancerous. Unfortunately, it came back almost 10 years later but to her bones this time and eventually spread thru her body like wildfire. Anyways, I'm not saying all this to scare you just to remind everyone that they should be doing self exams and getting mammography's every year. I'm sure things will be fine for you but things like this remind us how lucky we are to be able to take our health for granted when so many others are not! |

| I'm so glad that you're being proactive about this. I work for a breast cancer surgeon, and so many women ignore the signs and symptoms until it's too late. A fluid filled cyst is a very simple thing to take care of, and now you'll have a mammo and ultrasound (baseline if this is your first) for future comparisons. I'm so happy for you that your diagnosis is what it is, and I wish you continued health throughout your life. If you have any questions regarding your diagnosis, or any of the procedures that are posed to you, please feel free to PM me at any time. Best wishes!
