| I have my Daughter's Name Picked Out!!! but there is one problem I don't know how to put it on paper.....Ok her FIRST name is going to be Jaci-Renee (like Mary-Kate) but Jaci-Renee (pronouced J.C. Ree nay) of course Should I hypenate it it or should I just spell it JaciRenee no hypen? My daugher's middle name WAS going to be Renee and her first JUST Jaci but me and my best friend had promised each other that we was going to name our daughters after on another and she has a lil 2 year old daugher and her name is Morgan Renee (which she took my middle name) so I have to in return take her middle name which is Danielle SOOO that the whole reason why I made Renee part of my daughter's FIRST name.....I'm quite sure we will just call her Jaci for short though....so how should I do it no hypen or hypen it...JaciRenee or Jaci-Renee or should I spell Jaci different Jacie, Jacey, Jacy, etc. ANY FEEDBACK is appreciated ...oh yea I forgot to tell ya I'm not pregnant just already got my daughters name picked out and I also got my son too but thats another story...my husband likes it either way...so he's no help Another option could be just just not use my BF's middle name and make it Jaci with MIDDLE name Renee and tell my friend when I have my second daughter I will use her middle name because is 4 names too long?? well the first too is her FIRST NAME though..ugh I'm LOST.. Another issue is if my dauther is indeed name Jaci-Renee...I would want people to acknowledge that JACI is not her first name her first name is JACI-RENEE but I know my daugher will be correcting people all day LOL

| I like JacieRenee I think if you leave the hyphen out more people will call her by her full first name rather than Jacie. I dont think with a name that long she needs a middle name.

| My cousin has a little boy with 2 middle names, IMHO thats the way to go. I love the fact that he has 4 parts to his name, it makes him extra special! |

| You make a very good point because if the name is Jacie-Renee I would want people to say her FULL name and not think its just Jacie........can I do that on the birth certificate have two names put together? I'm sure I can right?

| I like it with the hyphen. Not many people have a hyphen in their name and I like how it looks on paper. Jaci really isn't a common name so when I looked at it I thought it was either said JC or Jacky. She might get called Jacky if it's spelled that way.

| I would also spell it jayci or jayce because at first glance I thought it was pronounced Jackie. Just a thought, then again I am horrible at pronouncing things the right way at first. Also I like JayceRenee or JayciRenee without the Hyphen. My thought is that when she goes through school and has to fill out her name on standardized tests and such they don't have places for hyphens.

I like these two spellings and having them together. I have a friend who named her son (first name) John Thomas....soooo cute! I never thought of two names when I was pregnant. Oh and another lady I know, her daughter is MaryMattison......sweet!!! I guess it is more personal preference....would you rather have two first names that everyone will use or two middle names that don't get used much.

| So, who is to say you cant give her two middle names? Jacie Renee Danielle? Can do Jacie Renee as the first name or Jaceerenee. Just be cautious of what you are going to do to this poor child for the rest of her life!

| I'd do whatever would be easier for the child to learn. A hyphenated first name might be a little complicated for her to learn to spell and write.....and then, there's school. It's really hard for kids with complicated names. Teachers were forever pronouncing my name wrong in school....it can be very annoying!
