Donating YT 11K Club Member | Laptop It seems everything of mine is getting messed up today Well my laptop fell, and the screen inside looked like the ink spread everywhere, i can't see, it just looks like a big painting. Does anyone know if i can get this fixed? I have an HP, now i won't be able to post pics or videos

| Hey there. Yes, you can get it fixed but it may not be worth fixing. I think the cost for a new screen is around $400.00 but check and see. If you're savvy you can buy the screen and replace it yourself (or) another thought is to just use a monitor. You can plug the monitor in through the usb port and then it should be fine. Elaine |

| go on ebay and you can probably buy a replacement monitor ..... it is easy to change it .... good luck

| you can lay your laptop flat and hook the monitor of your desktop into the USB plug (as someone else suggested) and that would let you use your HD from the laptop ... but the eBay idea is good also ... search for hp laptop monitor replacement Oh the big black thing you put the disks in is called the tower ....

| I think she means that you can connect the laptop to the computer screen with a wire (the USB wire)... I'm not sure exactly how...The USB is a white wire that you use to connect your digital camera to your laptop I think...
