| Does anyone actually like baking? I'm tired!!! I feel like my oven is going to explode. So far today I have made 2 batches of doggies treats (for Simon's party tomorrow), pupcakes and now I'm making cupcakes and I'm trying really hard to find something I like about baking and I just can't. It's messy and takes a long time. And apparently I don't know how to use a mixer since I'm covered in vanilla cake mix. I am exhausted from party planning today. I've made little doggie bags for all the dogs attending that include home-made treats, soccer balls, flossies, and a little stuffed bear (hallie's fav for the little ones) and big tennis balls for the big ones. Between baking and cleaning my apartment I'm freaking exhausted. The only thing keeping me sane at the moment is a big fat glass of wine! You people with children that do these parties are my new heroes |

NOT the process... it makes sucha mess and usually the things i'm using won't all fit in the dishwasher and i end up having to wash it all...its ok if you are only making ONE thing.. but like you are doing otnihgt.. you will need to reuse stuff!!! BUT i bet this is going to be one GREAT party!! Layla and i are wishing we could be there!!! but we'll be thinking of you guys having a GREAT time tomorrow!!! | I hate cooking, baking or anything to do with preparing meals. I wish I was rich so I could eat out everyday.

YT 2000 Club Member | I have 4 boy's and I stress out when it comes time for the parties! I do like to bake tho. I just got my new oven put in after not having one for a year because we were remodeling the kitchen. I have not stopped backing sence we put it in last week. I have made cookies, brownies, and cake every night! If I was closer to ya I would of gladly helped out! Have that glass of wine and relax a bit Good luck with the party! |

| I agree with you. Even with boxed mixes you still manage to get bowls, spoons, and mixers dirty. It takes longer and more effort to clean up than it does to actually bake. Yay for bakeries! |

| I only like the part where people eat and say that your baking is good. Not the process of baking itself

| I guess I'm the minority because I LOVE baking . I like to cook, too, but I prefer baking. It actually relaxes me... I love formulating dog treat recipes, experimenting and baking the finished product, which is why I started Cafe Max. I also love baking cookies, cakes, brownies, pies, etc, too but I would eat them all and that would not be very good for my waistline, butt, or thighs so I usually just bake a ton of cookies for the holidays or special occasions when I have help eating everything. The only thing that I HATE about cooking and baking is cleaning up afterward but if you clean up as you go along, it's not too bad when you're all finished

| Oh gosh, I hope people like them. I really don't like cake, cookies, cupcakes so maybe that's why I don't see any reward with this whole thing. Guess I'll just have another glass of wine |

Luvs Lulu Donating Member | Here is another thing for you to contemplate. At least your guest will be fairly mild mannered. When I end up with a million kids it's a disaster.
