| Very emotional day today.... Hi all, just felt like writing tonight as I have had a very very bad day and thought that my YT friends might listen..............I cant even go into detail about what has made me so upset and I am sorry for this, but it would be just too long and drawn out, and maybe some would think it wasnt all that bad. I know that I am going thru something right now..........maybe menapose or something, but it just sucks, and I am very sad, crying all day long and need an outlet i guess..........I know too that my little furbabies feel it too because they have been up my butt all day...God love em..............I would like to know if anyone else is going thru the menapose thing like me and maybe we could talk....I dont know, maybe it will make me feel better..........................anyways thanks for listening, and Im sorry Im so vaugue, but that is just how I feel.............very sad for maybe not even a good reason..........

| Well sweetie are you having hot flashes too and it sounds like you are having the mood swings. The only thing I can tell you is what I am doing....taking zoloft. I started out on prozac and estrace but I finally quit the estrace and my dr. changed me to zoloft. I can't even tell you how much it helps with the mood swings and the crying. talk to your dr. good luck. PM me any time you want to just "talk" Patty |

| Girl your not alone, it happens to all of us...your in your twenties and trying to find yourself, your 30's your trying to get on your feet, then 40 hits and life finally looks great, you know where you going and your pretty secure and then menopause hits and your a basket case...It sucks, but you have to shake it off, and you might want to call your doctor for some hormone pills...Hang in there girl, it will get better...

| I'm sorry. I'm sorry you are going through a hard time. We just lost our Yorkie on Friday, after his being our little boy for the past 10 years. And, if that isn't bad enough, two days later my mom was admitted into the hospital and will be coming home with hospice tomorrow. She has Alzeimers and has stopped eating and it's just heartbreaking. It seems like when it rains it pours. Actually, it has been pouring here in NJ for the past five days. I told my boys that the heavens are shedding tears of joy, because they just got the best little dog in the world. They look at me like I'm crazy. LOL. But I couldn't think of anything to tell them to heal their hearts or mine for that matter. If I can help you with anything, pls. feel free to drop me a line. Elaine |

| I'm so sorry for both of you. I am much older than you and now retired. You have to fight these feelings with all your might. My mother and I had a fairly easy time through change of life but my daughter had a terrible time. She couldn't sleep etc etc until she found a really good gyn that helps her through it. I urge you to get to your Dr. and I'll pray things get better soon. Jrsygal37 my heart is breaking for you. I have a 13 yr old yorkie that I have owned 10 yrs and I know this is something I have to start thinking about. I lost my first yorkie 12 yrs ago and she was an angel and meant so much to me like I know your yorkie meant to you. It will get easier and the pain will get replaced with wonderful memories but I always feel a hole there is my heart when I talk of her. God Bless You and you are in my prayers tonight. also your dear Mom

| I understand how you feel, I've just started menopause. The hot flashes are miserable! I have them mainly at night, and I don't sleep well at all, which means I walk around like a zombie all the time. On top of that, I have an ulcer. Anytime you want to talk, let me know!

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Sorry you are having a bad time. When I started menopause I had a lot of other things going on, job loss after 33 years, sick parents etc. My doctor put me on a low dose of Zoloft and that really helped. I still have the hot flashes though years later and they suck. If you find you cant pull yourself out of the funk see your doctor.
