| Hanging framed photo I want to do a wall collage with family photos all are framed and diffrent sizes and frames. I will be hanging a wooden painted sign above the family photos that say "ALL BECAUSE TWO PEOPLE FELL IN LOVE" all familes start that way right? I just don't know where or how to start hanging the pictures,I don't want them lined up just a mix of shapes and sizes. Has anone done anything similar, any pictures of the wall, any tips? |

| A good way to arrange them is to put a large (as large as your grouping will be) piece of paper on the floor arrange your pictures on the floor (paper) trace them, then tape the paper to the wall and place your hangers (nails, whatever you will be hanging them on) one at a time into the wall according to where you have them on the paper. Then take the pictures down and take (tear) the paper off the wall and hang your pictures on the hangers you have placed. For most arrangements it is good to have a shape in mind, like a square, rectangle, etc. Then when you are arranging them make sure that the outermost picture edges are on the borders of your shape to make that shape. Hope this makes sense...it is kind of hard to explain. Would love to see a picture of your arrangement after you finish.
