To have come back from the weekend and to see the thread I started CLOSED!!!!! Read the very FIRST post on the thread, I made my intentions clear and people chose to get back on the drama train!!!!!! I am so hurt myself and feel guilty for the hurt feelings some now have...Maureen and Galatea, I apologize from the bottom of my heart, either of you can PM me anytime and know I am there for you, the offer still stands to fly out and do ANYTHING I can...Yvonne

I briefly read the threads and tried to see where the drama started but decided to look away for a bit as I am so mad...I do not want to be responsible for anymore hurt feelings...I look at Charlie and Henry everyday and think how hard it must be for anyone who lost their animal...It makes me so sad to see all this and rules being broken...I also agree w/ the one post by Galatea, I do not feel PM's should be kept private and give people the ability to hide, people today need to take responsibility for their words and actions, it is a huge part of the problems in the world today...Say what you mean and mean what you say...And remember, What goes around comes around...And just so people know, yml is for Yvonne M. Lewicki I have nothing to hide~

I have to agree with you Yvonne. If it is mean and isn't something you would say in front of the entire board, then dont resort to saying it in a pm. Everyone is allowed their opinion and you are going to get several different ones with there being so many members here. Maybe that wasnt the reason it was closed. Maureen said she is no longer taking part so really there was no reason to keep the thread open since it was her dog people were trying to help find. Either way, I am sorry your thread was closed.

I agree and since I was one of the people who was surprised to see the drama and pm's posted - I guess you all have a point

I think peoples hearts were in the right place but there was just too many posts - it was hard to follow. - The whole thread (both of them) went pretty over the top - It reminded me of what happened to the Brushy Creek thread - some people just kept taking it so far off topic it lost it's value and turned it into a circus -

I commend Galatea for offering her services but as Co Momma said - since Zekes mom isn't participating - there really was no reason to keep that thread going - I wish little Zeke all the best and hope he's safe and happy wherever he is

Agreed. Maureen's wishes were granted. Why continue with pages and pages of speculation and opinions..of what coulda, shoulda, woulda.
If she wants to continue her search (or not) privately.(which means not open to the public) Well so be it.

I do understand...It was meant to be a place for all to offer and receive comfort, that is why it is so disheartening...That is why when someone asked where things stood, I replied out of respect for Maureen that I would PM her and ask what she want repeated and if she even minded me starting the thread, and SOMEONE piped in and gave the whole rundown B4 Maureen could even respond...It is for the best, but I feel guilty...I just hope she finds him...On another note...Does anyone know where the YT cook book stands? Or the name selected? I asked and had not heard from anyone that I could see...The holidays are coming!!! YIKES did I just say that??? I had made a suggestion for a "Tips and Tricks": section for everyone to have input and did not really hear anything about that either, Maybe another book idea, huh?

The cookbook is coming along great! We are still waiting for more recipes to be submitted.

Like V said, I was out of town this weekend to pick up a new baby boy!

I'm back now, I do have a lot going on right now, The Cook Book is at the top of my list and we are working hard on it.

The cover is finished and I can't wait to announce the cover to everyone!

Thanks for the info, I do have a few recipes too...I have also been busy, my oldest daughter just got engaged and we are planning a Labor Day gathering for the families to meet...I appreciate the consideration of the Tips and Tricks section, I just know for myself w/ all the food recalls and craziness going on that sometimes we all get in a bind and to have a few hints on things to keep in the pantry for emergencies, etc. would be nice...I do keep baby food on hand, the most natural I can find, carrots, meats, etc. for the days my frozen veggies and ground turkey run out...My 2 boyz LOVE veggies! Last night they had beets and Charlie scared the daylights out of me this a.m. when he pee pee'd and it was red, I thought, "Oh Yeah" The Beets...haha...He went on the sidewalk as he hates the wet morning grass, MMM Can we say spoiled? haha, I understand the copyright thing, it is the way of the world, off to court suing everyone! Is what you mean maybe a church cookbook recipe that you love and want to share? Maybe that will help better explain the type of recipes allowed as most of them came from a friend of a friend, huh?

I left for two reasons.
1.Maureen was not working with us anymore, she wanted to do it private, I do not feel that I left Maureen, she left us.

2. There are no more leads, there no where to look, the grandmothers house was a dead end, that was the only lead, even Galatea said there is no new leads.

I do feel very bad that we did not find Zeke that was our main purpose here
we were all working together to find him and I thought we were doing pretty well. well yea we did have some off the wall ideas, but it keep spirits up and our minds open.

what daisyma said was unkind and hurt ful, I would like to think that if this happen to any of us we would all be here to help that person in anyway we could, A lot of us are thousand miles away from where Zeke is, but all of us were ther in heart and spirit. we chime in with thoughts and prayers and lighting the candles, Maureen came and went this is her child, she got her feelings hurt and left, If this was my baby I would toughin up take the bad vibes with the good vibes but I would never leave people hanging that had spent months and months trying to help pouring their heart and soul into
this thread.
I hope she does find Zeke but a lot of us will never know. because unless you pm her she wont tell us.

Good post. I didn't mean to take away from how much you all did - but I agree - I'd tough it out too no matter how much drama there was ....I would think if Zeke is found - she'd update people - weren't there many who sent her money ? I hope she puts aside her feelings and does come back if only to let everyone know where it stands - there's some who poured their whole hearts into this saga amd just vanishing doesn't seem really fair to all those who pitched in to help her find her dog
