Greensburg tornado pets up for adoption Two and a half months after a devastating tornado destroyed Greensburg, Kansas, the Pratt Humane Society is opening adoption for those pets rescued from Greensburg and left unclaimed by their owners. If you have room in your heart and in your home, please consider one of these babies. There are roughly 60 cats and 10 dogs in need of homes. Page on Petfinder

Oh, that Gizmo looks too cute. Greensburg was my dad's hometown. He was headed there for his high school reunion when the storm hit. My uncle still lives about four miles from there. My grandmother and great aunt lived in Pratt. I surely hope those babies get back to their owners or find good homes. If I were there, I'd snatch one up in a minute.

Gizmo is a beauty. Hard to believe someone isn't looking for him.
