| lyme disease has anyone ever delt with it in humans? my little sister has a lot of the symptoms, and after trying to figure out for a few weeks what might be wrong with her, the doctors are 90% sure its lyme disease. they did a blood test, but we won't get the results until tomorrow. have any of you ever had experience with it? if you have, what were some of your symptoms?

| WOW! I havent experienced this and wish your family lots of luck with this tough disease... I have seen stories about it on Discovery Health and finding it is the worst part from what I understand. Once the find it, it is very treatable... Good Luck to You! d

| When my daughter was 3 years old she was diagnosed with it. She had a tick bite and a couple days later she started with a fever, then a couple days after that she couldn't walk very good because her legs hurt. She was started on antibiotics and she did fine. She is almost 18 years old now and she hasn't had any problems from it. Also the test that they use to check for it is only 50% accurate, so if the symptoms are there then they just treat it anyway. I hope your sister gets well soon. |
