| What kind of computer does everyone have? I currently have a Gateway laptop but I am in the market for a new one. I thought I'd turn to my YT friends for recommendations. Does anyone out there have a laptop that they just LOVE? If so, let me know. I hate shopping for a new computer.

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | I have a Macbook Pro. I LOVE IT! i've always had pc's. I had a HP desktop and more recently a dell laptop. They don't even compare to the Mac.

| I've been an Apple user most of my life, currently I'm using a MacBook. I'm pretty happy with it.

| Glad to hear everyone is loving their Mac's....that is what I am leaning toward. But I do dread trying to learn my way around on a Mac. I hear it very frustrating in the beginning but "once you go Mac ...you never go back"!!!

| I have a Dell and hate it - they have horrible customer service and the $400 warranty stinks. There is a class action lawsuit against Dell b/c of their advertising and misleading warranty info. I'm a teacher and the district has mac laptops for each teacher to use (it's our grade book/plans, etc.) - I love it and would recommend buying one! |

| HONEST TO GOD!! i was ready to send it back at first the layout of a mac is pretty much the opposite of a PC and there is no "start" or right click, so you just have to mess around with it until you figure out where everything is. but i'd NEVER go back to a PC... |

| Once you figure out the basics of macs you can move around it pretty easily! One the laptops you can press control and then the mouse to have a "right click" option. Also, another plus to apple is that it is pretty difficult to get a virus (it was in the past, I don't know if that's changed recently though). Good luck with your decision!

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | i didn't have any trouble learning how to use my mac. You can use alot of the same programs like FireFox and microsoft office. In fact i like the Safari internet that comes with the mac better then internet explorer. Also i use the same mouse on my mac that i used on my dell so i do have the right click option. the back button on my mouse no longer works tho...can't figure out how to fix that, but i learned to deal with it.
