| Anyone know of any FREE MP3 Music site.... Ok well tomorrow is our anniversary and me and my husband decided that one of our gifts would be matching MP3 players so we went to Radio Shack today and bought them so now I'm trying to find a site where I can download tunes to our players for free. If anyone knows can you please post the site Thanks!

| What kinda music do you like? There are free music download site's out there, but I do not recommend them. Mostly because of computer viruses. But, if you chose to download music, I suggest updating your virus software and running it cont. while downloading. But, with this great forum, some one may want to send you a copy of their music collection. www.limewire.com |

| My daughter downloads from someplace called limewire. I can't tell you much more than that. But I would imagine a search on limewire would bring it up...

| Limewire is a peer to peer site,,,,so with that in mind I suggest updating your virus software and run it cont. in the background while downloading from limewire. Just remember, just because it may look like your fav song title may be a Trojan Horse. As far as antivirus software, I like AVG. The home version is free and I find it better than Norton's and McAffee. You may also try CyberDefender from microsoft....Anyways Good Luck....hey what kinda music are you into...if I have it you can "borrow" it. |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | Limewire is great - and so is AVG Anti Virus - it may interfer with your mcAfee though - you can uninstall that first before downloading - There should be a FAQ section that'll tell you - but I think AVG is better than McAfee...I always get on the Techie sites to see what the computer nerds are using and it's highly rated I used AVG for years and the only time I had trouble was trying the Free month Professional Edition - when I tried to go back to the free version - it messed up so stick with the FREE one - it's just like Norton only without the 40 a year charge |
