| Has anyone had H. Pylori? at the risk of self- diagnosing myself, i think i have H. Pylori, at least, if it has not turned into an ulcer. I have a doctor appointment on thursday ( she previously mentioned that i might have this), and until then am forced to lay flat on my back. Has anyone tried any home remedies that work? also do you know what type of tests they do to see if you do in fact have it? While i had my gallbladder issues, the burning in my stomach completely went away, but since Friday it has been very intense. I have medication that my doctor gave me that i'm taking but it only cuts back on the pain, doesnt' completely get rid of it. Any suggestions are welcome - thank God i proof read, originally i wrote, i have a VET appointment on Thrusday.. woah.. dog on the brain! |

| I have had it and it was nothing - I had to take an antibiotic for about 10 days or so and that was it. The test was during a colonoscopy or an endoscopy - I don't remember. Good luck, and don't worry too much about it.

| Mine was diagnosed during an endoscopy. I had to take antibiotics and then had to go to the dr's office and eat a special pudding, breathe into a bag to make sure it was gone.

| I work for internal medicine. The do an EGD (esophogealgastroduodenoscopy), they go down your throat with a camera and check out your esophagus and tummy. They usually obtain a couple of biopsies while they are down there. I believe, not 100%, but i think they can do a blood test to check for H. Pylori. Some medicines to treat are antibiotics, prevacid, or prilosec, carafate suspension (liquid). Hopefully they can get you diagnosed and treated soon. I've heard it makes you pretty miserable. You should probably be avoiding acid producing food. You can look online for a GERD (gastro esophageal reflux disease) diet suggestions. Good Luck

| i went to the ER not too long back and the doctor thought i had gallbladder issues but said he couldnt really tell from the xrays and that i needed to make an appointment to get a sonogram done but i never made one and i still get really sick sometimes and hurt really bad. They tell you that you cant eat blah blah blah and i guess i should listen but really you can only eat like salad with no dressing lol and stuff like that. they dont say that but eliminating all those foods thats what it practically comes down to. |

| I PM'd you. Good Luck on the microchipping Layla. Rocky, Sunnie & Maggie were chipped at Yorkie Fair and no side effects. See if you have to go online to register it.
