| I've never been to Vegas, but my daughter wants to go... I would love to fly over it at night. My friend went last year and stayed for awhile and then drove to the Grand Canyon (I think - I know they drove somewhere). How did you like it? We have two wax museums (Branson and Hot Springs) that are great! Scary, but great! (hee, hee)

| I loved Vegas and want to go back. It was freakishly HOT but not humid, which was nice. I always had good hair. AND NO BUGS-- omg, 3 whole days without a mosquito or fly -- being from AR, I know you can appreciate that!!!!! I think for my 35th birthday I am going to treat myself to a trip back to Vegas. And with that being about 2 yrs away ... things should have changed nicely. I really liked the downtown area, less crowded for sure. We have a wax museum in Arlington and its nice but you cant touch the people. In this one... YOU CAN TOUCH THEM, lol, I got in bed with Hugh Hefner!!!! It was soo much fun. We didnt have time to go the grand canyon but we did go to the Hoover dam. Im glad we did. It was very pretty. We didnt fly over, just cause we didnt want to spend the xtra$$ on a helicopter ride but if you go to the very top of the stratosphere... its beautiful. There is an excellent view of the strip. Its beautiful.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I've been to Vegas twice - first for a work meeting (hated Vegas) and then w/ Hubby (loved it!). I don't care either way about gambling but Vegas has some of the best chefs/restaurants in the world and unbelievable spas - that's why I like it. Oh, and the high-end boutiques are a treat - to have them all in one spot.

| I went for my high school graduation and I loved it, eventhough that time i couldn't gamble in the casinos... I hated that you have to be 21 there! But the second time I went, I was 21, so I had an even better time! And I absolutely loved the wax museum! I didn't go the first time, but the second time I went to Vegas, I took pictures with every character and I even married george Clooney. lol. Vegas is definately one of my favorite places... but you definately need a week at a time... I went both times for a week and there would be no way that I could squeeze it all into a weekend... the shopping alone took me days.. lol. I want to plan a trip back up in like 2 years (for my 25th)...but this time I'm going in April (not January on my b-day) becuase the weather is supposed to be beautiful! Did you go to Red Rock Canyon (I think that's what it's called)? It's absolutely beautiful and during the winter, there's a ski resourt on the top.

| I've been to Las Vegas twice. I love it out there. We went to the Hoover Dam also. It was 110 degrees that day. The shopping out there is something else. I loved the shops in Cesear's Palace. It looks like your outside the way they have the ceiling done but your really inside. Did that make sense. But it's true. The light show on Fremont Street is well worth going to.
