| Help Save Zeus Subject: Zeus - update The new hearing in the Zeus case is scheduled for July 6, 9:30am at the courthouse in Venice. For those of you who have not yet visited the forum, log on to: http://www.topix.net/forum/source/wt...5JSLD3JD5TEA13 If you'd like to email to judge Phyllis Galen in support of Zeus and his owner, a disabled veteran suffering from post-traumatic stress syndrome, depression and terminally ill colon cancer patient who depends on the assistance of his Service dog* : pgalen@scgov.net *According to the ADA definitions (Americans with Disabilities Act) a service animal assists a person with mental, emotional and physical disabilities. Service dogs are NOT pets but precious assistance animals helping their owners with their multiple disabilities. 44 so called aggressive dogs were given back to their owners in Sarasota County. None of them to be considered a Service dog ! Having trained Search and Rescue dogs for almost 20 years, about 80% of the German Shepherds, I am positive that Zeus is NOT an aggressive or vicious dog and NEEDS TO BE GIVEN BACK TO HIS OWNER WHO DEPENDS ON THE ASSISTANCE OF THIS DOG! Thank you for caring! |

| That is so tough. I wish the owner would have been able to control Zeus. The dog was on his own property and it seems like the dog was just protecting his owner. |
