| My Kate got Straight A's!!! I am beaming! I am just so proud of my little girl!!! She had 3 A's and two B's last quarter and she brought up those two B's and finishes the year with straight A's!!!!! I NEVER got grades like that! NEVER. My parents did not push me to get good grades, never told me that I could go to collage, never told me that I could do it... Heck I dropped out of high school and took the GED. It wasn't till I went to community collage on my own dime that I got A's and B's, but still, never straight A's! I am just SOOOOOOOO Proud! She is such a smart and determined little thing! And to top it off.... While I am bragging her up..... She tried out for Marching Band (her middle school is the only middle school in the valley that has a marching band, they win tons of awards, march at major events, and really give students a firm foundation for high school and eventually collage marching) and she made it! Oh and did I mention that she plays the TUBA! Yep! My sweet little girl plays the monster Tuba!!! And she'll be playing in two bands next year, two periods of Band, Concert Band and Marching! Wow! She is so dedicated to her music.. and it was not by my doing at all! She picked music all on her own... I would have thought drama with her outgoing personality... Anyway... I just had to post! YEAH KATE!!!

| Congratulations to you proud Momma and to Kate. I am sure she worked hard for those great grades. Kate sounds like a real go getter. You did a wonderful job raising her Kathryn so give yourself a pat on the back as well. Also congratulations to her on making the marching band. That's awsome. Being involved so much in school is so important these days for the kids. It keeps them from drifting off into other area's where they should not be out of boredom. Keep up the good work Kate. |

| Wahooo!!! Way to go Kate. Good job mom. Can I send my brat to you or do you want to come here and kick her butt. She needs some motivation because she's about to thoroughly screw up her life.

| oh congratulations . . . it sure feels good isn't it. I too have a stellar student and has been a summa cumme laude for 4 straight years in H.S and every year I got to see her get recognition . . . now that she is in college, I get a letter for her being on the dean's list . Tell her to keep up the good work oh and like you I never got good grades so I know it requires a lot of work and dedication and commitment on their part |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | That is TOO awesome, Kathryn. Congrats to both you and K2! You're definitely doing it right. My mom started ingraining "going to college" in me at 4. I came home from kindergarten and asked if I could go to college yet! |

| You & Kate have every right to be proud & beaming!!.... Those grades weren't just handed to her, she had to put in the time, effort, dedication, determination, & that shows her to be a very responsible young lady!... On top of all that she manages to fit in her other activities...Kathryn, that shows you have done your job as a good mom...Ladies take your bows!!! ........... ....................

| That is totally awesome!!!!!!! I did color guard in our band in NY. We were the best. We won everything we were in. That was the only good thing our town had...hehe. We were a small town of 8000. I think she deserves a trip to Texas!!! If you would ever like to see Houston, we would love to meet you!
