Default Those little stinkers....

After reading Tammy8833's thread about her "little stinker" helping her clean her tv it sure brought back some memories of things the kids did that at the time would make you want to strangle them, but now it's funny....

One of the most vivid memories is the day I left my DD (13yrs. old) "babysit" my son ( about 5 yrs. old) while I went out to a rare dinner...when I opened the front door the whole house looked like it was on fire there was smoky looking stuff from one end of the house to the other, my heart started racing I quickly made my way to the family room where they would usually be & yelled, "What's all this smoke!!", my DD stands up & very calmly states, "Well, Reid went into the bathroom & dumped the whole container of baby powder in his under wear ( he was rarely dressed at home ) then he comes running out, smacking his underwear saying, "I'm Speedy Gonzolas, the fastest mouse in all Mexico!" he went all through the house.".... ...I don't know why, but I busted out laughing even though I had a HUGE mess to clean up....

So what did your "Little Stinker " do?.....

Default funny topic

OMG!! That is hysterical!!!! This is a funny post because I was on the phone with my dad last night when he reminded of things me & my brothers did as kids. I do not have kids of my own so I thought id tell ya a couple things my brothers & I did when we were kids that made my parents angry at the time and now makes them laugh so hard.

I was about 4 and my brother was almost 3. I wrote his name on the toilet seat in crayon. When my dad said "Who wrote on the toilet seat?" I said "Michael did!"

My mom took a bath one day and put my brother & me in his room with the door closed so we'd be safe (she was about 7 month pregnant and just plain tired) and she said that the whole time she was in the tub we were super quiet so she got concerned. She got out and came into the room and we got into the diaper supplies... (there is a hilarious pic of this) we had desitin covering EVERY part of us and powder all over us, and all over the room... I mean we made a HUGE mess!! and in the pic we both were looking up at the camera and smiling like idiots with white faces and hair!!! Tooo funny!!

And the last thing, First time I babysat my brothers, we were scared so we turned on EVERY LIGHT IN THE HOUSE! The house was BLAZING! We were still scared so we called 911 and they came to the house and stayed with us until our parents got home! (only like an hour at most - I think they went food shopping) My parents were sooooo embarrassed!!

They laugh at all these stories now!!!

Celstu1....We mothers know that when the kids are quiet there's trouble brewing somewhere That Desitin story reminded me of my nephew who when he was about three got in my MIL kitchen cabinet & found a big can of Crisco & proceeded to sit on the floor & paint himself w/ it...glad that mess wasn't mine....

What is it with baby powder?? My SIL had something similar happen with my nephews a couple years ago. She said she was in the kitchen and they were playing in their room (they were about 4 & 6 yrs then). She said they were arguing.... no, my turn... no, my turn.... give it to me...... so she just called out to them that they should be nice and share. So, they did! She said it got real quiet so she finally went in there. No boys in the room so she looked in the closet. One of them had climbed up on a dresser that was in the closet and gotten the extra-large container of baby powder down off the shelf and proceeded to throw the powder all in the closet (totally emptying the container!). When she opened the door, all she saw was solid white boys with brown eyes! And there was inches of powder all over EVERYTHING! She had to wash all the clothes and everything. When she stuck them in the shower to get it off of them, it just bubbled and made a nasty paste. It was funny to ME and I guess to her.... later!

When my daughter was about 3, she went upstairs and was playing in my bathroom. When I went up and say her she had taken out a box of maxi-pads and stuck them all over her body. She thought they were big bandaids.

I don't know why, but this also comes to mind very vividly....He was 1 or so & we went to a busy mall w/ the stroller.....I was pushing from behind so I couldn't see him...all the people that where coming at us where looking into the stroller as they passed by...I was looking like the proud mother hen & smiling as we walked....but I noticed they weren't quite smiling as the looked in the stroller, it was more like ...I stopped the stroller & looked at him & I could have died...he had one finger from each hand shoved up each nostril, he just kept them in there, like guns in a holster!!...Never a dull moment

When my oldest son was 2, he had curly hair. He climbed from the bed to the dresser, took the giant economy sized jar of vaseline and put the whole thing in his hair trying to "get the curls out".

My mother is a hairdresser and I called her crying about his hair. It took several boxes of baking soda to partially absorb the vaseline and he had a slick head for SEVERAL weeks.
