| In regard to my "Injury" thread....I HAVE TO HAVE RECONSTRUCTIVE SURGERY I really did a job on my knee!!! I didn't "stretch" , but actually ripped apart my ACL, MCL, and PCL in addition to dislocating my knee!!!!! I am so upset....my Summer is shot! The doctor said that a lot of people will tell you they dislocated their knee, but that it is actually a rare occurrence and doctors hardly ever have to give someone that news. I have physical therapy for 2 weeks before they will set a date for surgery. I am very upset, sad, scared and feeling like a total pain in the butt to everyone around me. The good news......I've been praying for patience for years and I seem to be acquiring some now . |

| I sure wish I were closer, I'd help you out any way I could, pooch-sitting, pooch-walking, pooch-cuddling, pooch-playing, whatever you need, but PA is too big a state and we are on opposite ends. You are not a pain in the butt and have every right to feel scared, sad and upset. I would be a wreck. But, be thankful it's something that can be repaired. In the meantime, think of all the time you can spend bonding with the pooches . Take care, and if there is anything I can do, just let me know. Sandy

| Gosh Sandy, thank you soooo much! I'd take you up on that! The hardest part for me right now is not being able to care for them myself. My family comes over to help. I can't let them out to go to the bathroom, feed them, or bath them. I did just get a wheelchair that has given me some freedom and I'm going to try and figure out ways to get these things done myself. I do get to love on them, but I want to take care of them too. Your response touched me thank you for your kindness. |

| Bless your heart I know exactly how you feel. I just had both of my knees replaced at the same time...and was moving and having a house built. I had and still have to depend on people for everything. Just hang in there 'cause it will get better. Thank goodness my husband has been a saint...and my grown kids especially my daughter. I won't even go into all she has had to do. Know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. Patty |

Is this because of the trampoline or am I thinking of someone else? You really did a job on it, didn't you??? Just try to relax and don't worry about being a burden to people. Everyone goes through needing others at some point in their life. Try and enjoy being waited on. Just don't let them know you're enjoying it! One thing I learned many years ago...NEVER pray for patience!!!! | |

| Oh boy.....sorry to hear this! A few years ago I broke both sides of my ankle....had subsequent surgery and spent months in a cast. I know how hard it is to do....but try and relax and let others give you a hand. I'm sure they're happy to do it for you. Take care of yourself and heal quickly....

| Julz sorry to hear you need surgery. Hang in there and do the best you can and try not to stress. It's just not worth it. You have enough to handle as it is. I also wish I lived closer to help you. I would be happy too. Please take care of yourself and continue working on your patience It's hard when you are so use to doing things yourself and have to now depend on others. Don't even think about it, I am sure everyone is more than happy to do what they can for you. Stuff happens. |
