| Vacations Hubby and I are puzzled on where we want to go for vacation. We have a 4 month old and he will be 6 months when we probably would take a trip somewhere. Any suggestions? Where is everyone else going this year? We want to go somewhere family friendly. I am scared to death to fly and it probably isn't the smartest thing with a baby, or so hubby says, I wouldn't know. LOL I don't think you could pay me to fly. I blame it on Final Destination....

| Twice a year we go to Davenport Florida (JUST outside orlando... a gated community) where we rent a house. This is IDEAL because Layla can come (we aren't sure if pets are allowed, but we've never said anything and neither have they! plus our pups don't shed!) and she can also come by the pool with us. I hate going to hotels because while they may be pet friendly, dogs can't go in the pool or even be on the pool deck. The house we rent has its own pool and she is just in heaven. I find she settles in very fast and it only takes about a day for her to figure out where she pottys and where she wants to nap and so forth... it has been BY Far the best thing we have done as a family since getting Layla. However, as a northerner... i was quick to learn about fire ants i hope wherever you go you all have a GREAT time and TAKE LOTS OF PICTURES!! |

Thanks!!! I want to take Tilly with us because she is part of the family, but hubby says it's not a vacation if we have to watch Tilly. I'm sure Tilly and I will get our way...LOL

| Florida is pretty cheap to visit in the summer. We live down here year long, & vacation then when the rates go down. Lots of places to kick back & enjoy.
