| Sunburn Okay, so today I went swimming for three hours and got a whopping sunburn. I was wondering what all you guys used to help get rid of it. I've used vigegar in the past and that works great but I hate the smell. I was hoping you ladies would give me some good ideas!! |

| Girl, be careful! Getting burnt like that is NOT good as Im sure you know! You need to take care of your skin so you stay young looking too! (not all about medical, it can be about superficial too haha) anyways, try oatmeal baths, like Aveno. Also if you have time, soaking clothes in ice water and pressing them onto your skin over & over again for about 20 mins (it kind of hurts at first) will draw the heat out of your skin. But PLEASE get yourself some SPF girl! 2 bad burns and its only June!!

| Any drug store should have it....even grocery stores. I hope it helps! Sunburn can be soooo painful, especially if you're trying to sleep at night! |

| Aloe Vera Gel!!!! I take a cool washcloth and lay it on the burn to help cool it off, apply aloe vera gel and sleep with a fan on. I know how you feel and I hope it gets better for you soon~ |

| If you're spending that much time in the sun you need to hydrate your body, make sure you're drinking enough water.

| Have you ever heard of using Paul Mitchell conditioner??? It's the one called "The Conditioner". I know it sounds weird but for us, it works better and quicker than Aloe Vera gel! We have already had to use it several times this summer around our house. It takes the heat out and if you put it on as often as you think about it (I try to do it every couple hours or so at first), it can take the red out overnight! And PM conditioner is great to use for shaving legs also!

| Beeing a redhead and having spent waaay too many years in the burn-blister-peel cycle, I can offer a couple suggestions. Ice tea (but not too cold) poured over the burn or Noxema (feels like ice, but does help). There are alot of new burn relief products out now that help some. Good luck and remember sun screen next time .
