| News on the HPV "vaccine" I got this message awhile back and thought I would share......I didn't know if anyone had seen this already........... From the email message: I wanted to pass this along b/c it is a new "vaccine" and it appears to have some serious side effects, even death. http://www.judicialwatch.org/6299.shtml May 23, 2007 Contact: Press Office 202-646-5188 Judicial Watch Uncovers Three Deaths Relating to HPV Vaccine Event Reports Obtained from FDA Detail 1,637 Adverse Reactions to Gardasil (Washington, DC) -- Judicial Watch, the public interest group that investigates and prosecutes government corruption, today released documents obtained from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) under the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act, detailing 1,637 reports of adverse reactions to the vaccination for human papillomavirus (HPV), Gardasil. Three deaths were related to the vaccine. One physician’s assistant reported that a female patient “died of a blood clot three hours after getting the Gardasil vaccine.” Two other reports, on girls 12 and 19, reported deaths relating to heart problems and/or blood clotting. As of May 11, 2007, the 1,637 adverse vaccination reactions reported to the FDA via the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) included 371 serious reactions. Of the 42 women who received the vaccine while pregnant, 18 experienced side effects ranging from spontaneous abortion to fetal abnormities. Side effects published by Merck & Co. warn the public about potential pain, fever, nausea, dizziness and itching after receiving the vaccine. Indeed, 77% of the adverse reactions reported are typical side effects to vaccinations. But other more serious side effects reported include paralysis, Bells Palsy, Guillain-Barre Syndrome, and seizures. “The FDA adverse event reports on the HPV vaccine read like a catalog of horrors,” stated Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “Any state or local government now beset by Merck's lobbying campaigns to mandate this HPV vaccine for young girls ought to take a look at these adverse health reports. It looks as if an unproven vaccine with dangerous side effects is being pushed as a miracle drug.” Judicial Watch filed its request on May 9, 2007, and received the adverse event reports from the FDA on May 15, 2007. Judicial Watch has posted the adverse event reports below. (A recent study, published in the New England Journal of Medicine, also questioned the general effectiveness of Gardasil.) | How scary. What I don't understand is at what point do the side effects appear? The vaccine is given in three parts, over a year, I think. I wonder which of the three vaccines causes immediate side effects... I've had the first vaccine, and I am going back in August for the second one...

I really don't think that these "vaccines" that haven't been tested through and over the years and all areas covered, should be made mandatory, like some are wanting them to be.......that's just my opinion though. It's like most medicines, sometimes the side effects are far worse the the problem you are trying to take care of. (that is scary and what is that helping?).....

Donating YT 500 Club Member | Sexually transmitted. It's a virus that can result in cervical cancer and/or genital warts. |

| Yes, I am very glad you posted that. I have 3 daughters, 17, 16 and 11.. and they wanted me to give them this shot around 4 mths back. I felt uncomfortable about it. So therefor I declined and told them I would wait till I learned more of it. WOW! I am so relieved I made this choice.

| I thought it was...If it's a sexually transmitted disease, then I do not understand why everyone should have this shot. There are people out there with only 1 partner for their entire lives. I don't think that I would recommend this shot in the first place, especially now that I've read this.

| When this vaccine came out I told my daughter," You absolutely better NOT give that shot to my granddaughter!"..... absolutely, positively do not make her a guinea pig... new medications are only tested on a few thousand people & for a short amount of time they have no idea what the long term effects this has or what will happen to my granddaughter's children...this vaccine is for sexually transmitted diseases so your behavior is what determines if your high risk & it doesn't even cover all the strains of it...this very subject really gets me angry at the drug companies....

| thanks for posting this. there has been a lot of controversy about the efficacy of the vaccine. Sometimes there are false positives, and then when the test is repeated, it's negative. Just scary that you do not know b/c there is no track record. I do not believe it is limited to sexual contact ... but I would say that if you have contact with someone who has it, you can probably get it. The target group is age groups 12-26. Albeit, there have been cases reported of celibate women over 60 having the HPV.

| You can get HPV from sexual contact or even from a toilet seat. It's pretty scary. Especially that you can end up with cervical cancer. I'll step up and say I have HPV. No idea when, where or how I got it. I wasn't a promiscuous teenager. In fact I've been married for 4 years now. And I went through the scare of cervical cancer. Everything turned out fine but I was lucky. I think the benefits may out rank the risks. With any vaccine or medication, there are side effects and risks. I also think more research needs to be done before the media keeps hyping it up either way. Saying every young woman should get it or scaring people away from it without having all the facts.

| Hpv I am a nurse I lost a 40 y/o patient from cervicle cancer she had never known she had HPV she only had one partner, I do plan on my kids getting the vaccine it has to be started before they are active, I do not understand why in the report pregnant girld had recieved. most peolple do not know 90% of women carry HPV it is not few and far between so a vaccine that will prevent cancer, I am for I do not think it should have been forced or mandated, but I do think it is very wise to get I would hate for my dtr later in life to have cancer and ask why I didn't get her the shot. |
