Angry Aggghhhh So Mad!!

I Have been patiently waiting for months now to get a fence in my front yard i need it desperatly Peeka will no longer poop on a leash and is pooping in my house and Daisy is now running off It is such a pain to try to take them out on leashes because i have my 2 year old who either gets into everything when i'm out or he is out with me and is running off and the dogs take twice the time on leashes. I am so irritated now because i thought i was going to get it on the 5th and now we can't . I have tried searching everywhere to find the lowest price but it will cost us $600.00 to do it ourselves aaggghhhh i hate this! Sorry i just have to vent. why the heck is chain link so expensive!! Plus i have to buy an extra 42 feet of fencing because i am over by 12 ft and they won't just sell me the 12 ft SORRY AGAIN I JUST REALLY NEED TO VENT THANKS FOR LISTENING TO ME!!

You just go ahead and vent, this is the place to do it. We've all had frustrating times but it sounds like you're having a doosie. I don't know why it's so expensive & it's crappy that you have to buy so much extra.

My sister had a 20X40 ft chain link dog run installed at her house for $1200. Two days later her 3 dogs (Boxer, Shepherd & Border Collie) got out and the Boxer & Shepherd were shot by the farmer down the road when they got into his chicken & hog pens. The Border Collie made it home. Boxer & BC went over it, the Shepherd went under it. So they have a dog run that they can't use.

I know what you mean, we had to buy extra when we put the fence up in Florida...they just don't sell short rolls! Is there something temporary that you can do to contain them until you get your fence like put them out in an x-pen or something?

Seems that someone should have a section that you can buy instead of the whole roll... that sucks. I would think the chain link should be cheap compared to other alternatives.

Just think of the end... and how nice it will be once its there... it will make all of this seem like nothing!

Hang in there

no Peeka has to have room to run and poop or he won't and he can jump the baby gates (anything under 4 ft) because i was tempted to go buy a few and put them up outside. I am so desperate i thought about chicken wire but it's all to expensive for a temporary fix. i have been crying and upset all day! I know this might be petty to a lot of people but it is something i really need for the saftey of my dogs and kids that way my 2 yr old could come out to and not run off. Why the heck don't they make them in smaller rolls dang it's so dumb to

Thank you! I'm sorry for their loss that is really sad

unfortunantly we won't be able to get one period now but i will think of something. I have also thought of buying 2 ten foot poles and attaching a rope to the top and putting them on a tie like thing but i can just see Peeka Hanging Daisy with it lol. I know they just want your money!!

Hey everyone has that right ... no need to apologize here! I dont know what your yard looks like but I know the people across from me years ago did put a rope up between two trees and then a pulley with a rope so the dog could run back and forth but not enough rope to get anywhere near the street.

Chicken Wire for a temp fix is expensive! I did that at my old house and OUCH unless you can catch it on sale....

Are there any junk yards or recycle places around? Maybe they have some?

I wish that I had a way to help you. I know how frustrated you are. I can only imagine how it is with them on leashes and your 2yr old helping out. How about (I'm not being funny, I'm a grandmother who has done this before) an ex-pen out front for the 2 yr old when you are on leash duty?

Here, this is for you tonight....

LOL i would lock him in a cage if i thought it would hold him lol i have the incredible hulk monkey for a son he can climb out of, on top, in, out of anything lol and if he can't he'll push or pull it or destroy it till he's free i have my hands full with this one lol. this is the child that if i go to the bathromm for 3 seconds he will pull the child locks off the cubords and drink the bug spray i also bought those door knob child proof things and they actually help him open the door so we bought the little medal hook and loop locks and he jiggles the door till they pop out i am seriously going to pull out my hair

what about that white plastic garden type fence...my dad uses it to keep lillian out of his plants. I don't know how much it cost but I can find out for you..it could be a quick fix till you can find something better.

yes we looked at some of that but it has to be at least 4 ft and not have the slats to far apart Peeka will sqeeze through lol. OMG why is this so difficult why can't i have normal dogs and kids hahahahaha

we even looked at lattace but my son would break it in 5 minutes and the lady said it wasn't sturdy enough
