| Anyone with Children??? I have a 11 month old little boy, Ezekial. He weighs 30lbs but doenst look fat. (at all) Everyone thinks he is older and expects him to walk. I have quite a few people tell me that he is lazy!!! Any one else have bigger children? I am just at a loss about what to say to people because i tend to get very defensive about him. I am very tiny and people joke about how he is SO HUGE!! The doctor says he is just fine.

| hes cute. My brother in laws daughter is bigger. She is 4 years old and close to 70 lbs. I forget when she started walking but I dont think it was considered late. If your doctor doesnt see any problems I wouldnt worry about it

| I never thought he was big, at least not to me. He was 9lbs 9oz when he was born!!! so he was a chunky baby but at 6 months he started getting into his weight!! My older son, Malakai, was bigger and walked at 10 months. He is now 5 and weighs 50 lbs (he has weighed 50lbs for a year now!!! but he is really tall) I think people just need to feel better about their children!! Zeke is already starting to talk. Everytime he sees GiGi, he calls her goddy!!! It is just hurtful when someone calls your child lazy!!!

| I have a close friend who has a 2 yr old that weighs 32lbs. He has always been heavy. But he is just not that tall. He started walking when he was about a year or just over a year. I don't think lazy has anything to do with it. It is more the question of is he carried a lot. Once everyone quit carrying him he realized the need for his own feet. |

| He is carried outside but not in the house or anything. When i pick him up at daycare, I make him crawl to the door!! He is standing and cruising but he shakes when he is standing by himself!!!! He is only 11 months old!!! so I dont think he is behind at all. I will never forget the time this older woman asked my older son if he could read.... he says "I am only two, no I cant read!!! " it was so funny.. she says, I thought he was at least 4!

| gosh people are soooo rude to call a little boy lazy! i would have told them off, your baby is not fat, he a sweetheart! kids walk when they are ready size have nothing to do with it, my first son started to walk at 13 months, second son at 12 months my little girl walk at 15 months and my third son walk at 10 months. if your doctor is not worry about it than you should not be. |

Some people will always be rude -- don't pay attention, their opinion isn't what counts. Here's my children's spring school pictures -- Rachel, 6 1/2 years old and Jacob 7 1/2 years old.

| My 18 year old daughter didn't walk till she was almost 13 months old. She wasn't interested at all in walking! She talked very early, mind you, but she could get to where she wanted to go by crawling. I remember worrying about it, but the doctors told me that she would walk when she was ready....and she did. Your little one will walk when he's ready. Don't feel pressured by what people say and don't let yourself get upset by those who judge. You have a beautiful, glorious child who will walk when he's ready. As far as size goes...if your paediatrician isn't concerned, then that's the main thing. He sure is a cutie. Don't let what others say get you down. They have their own problems and by insulting you and your child it makes them feel better about themselves. You're blessed with a beautiful boy |

Donating YT 2000 Club Member | He is so cute!!! My son was 25 pounds by the time he was 4 months old. LOL He was a chunk! He weighed 10 pounds when he was born. He was always really big but never what I would say fat. He is 7 now and already weighs 100 pounds but I still don't think he looks fat just thick and solid. Don't let people bother you. I think he looks perfect!
