| It's a four letter word, "DIET"!!! Is anyone else dieting? Any helpful tips? Anyone doing something that's really working to drop weight? I am trying to eat healthy and excerise...just having a bad day with it. Just looking for some success stories. A Weight Loss Success Story: I have a friend that has 4 small children all under the age of seven. She has lost a ton of weight by completely dropping sugar from her diet. She eats lots of nuts, low fat cheeses & turkey. Share your success stories!!!!!!!!!

Donating YT 500 Club Member | I've been fighting the same 10-15 pounds for the last five years. (Gain it. Lose it. Gain it back. Lose it again.) I tend to succumb to junk when I'm stressed. So ... to try and combat that, I try to keep a healthy supply of low/no-fat goodies, fruit snacks, fresh fruit and vegetables on hand. If they are there, I will get them instead of junk! Also, WALK, WALK, WALK. If you drive, park farther away on purpose. Ride the bus? Get off a block or two sooner. Elevators? What are those? TAKE THE STAIRS. I'm amazed at how much those two things alone can do. |

| I am on weight watchers and have lost 58.4lbs. I agree that you need to move as much as possible. I walk 5 days a week on the treadmill and take Millie for a walk everyday for about 20-25 minutes. I also, have removed refined sugar from my diet, especially anything with High Fructose in it. I have noticed that when I did this, I started feeling less hungry all the time. Adding nuts to your diet also works, walnuts, almonds or peanuts. Just a handful before meals will make you feel less hungry and then you will eat less at dinner. I highly recommend You: On a Diet; by Dr. Rosin and Dr. Oz. Very good book on how your body works, what to eat and why and how it works for you, and the minimum excerises you need to do.

| I am on weight watchers and I do water aerobics at the YMCA. I eat too much junk and I admit it! But now I limit my portions and work out. But I still eat what I want. If I did not eat all the yummy stuff I am sure I would lose it much faster. But I quit smoking and my naughty food is the only thing that keeps me from going crazy! |

| I'm trying to loose weight too, but nothing i do seems to work. i know if i eat out i eat at subway, they have alot of low fat sandwiches salads and wraps. I eat a turkey and ham wrap with all the veggies and oil and vin. on it and its very good and filling, and light doritos, and for dinner i usually have steamed veggies and baked chicken. i just started this so i will let you know how it works. |

| I lost 27 pounds last year by watching what I ate...I ate the same, but smaller portions AND I did cut back on the not so good for you stuff...I walked up to three hours each and every day...some days were three hours all at once (very seldom) others were three times a day (an hour each), etc. I have since gained back 16 of those nasty pounds! YUCK! I would like to drop a whopping 34lbs and keep it off!!! I have thought about diet pills, but I don't think there are any good ones or any that are good for you. I have tried the diet shakes - well, the fitness protein shakes from the health food stores, but they didnt' last - I need to get back in my routine of walking and am hoping that with a new swimming pool this summer, that will help a lot too!

| This isn't a diet, it's just another way of eating, but if you want to really lose all the extra fat in a hurry and keep it off just go for the fresh fruits and veggies. No sugars. Drink water or crystal light. Do you know that drinking sodas, even diet ones, will put weight on you and keep it on you no matter what you eat or don't eat! Give it up if your serious about losing weight. You can also have a very small baked potato and broiled fish once or twice a week. When making a nice salad every day, add some tuna to it. |
