This dog was surrendered to my rescue today and she was told he was a Westie when she bought him at the pet store haha...I am sure he has Westie in him but I dont know what else...what do you think?? He is 16-17 weeks old and about 7 pounds...shorter legs...about as tall as Reece but longer...his hair is very wirey and his snout quite long...I know what my thoughts are but I want a second, third and fourth opinion lol...sorry my pics are crap...I cant figure out my new camera lol...and he would hardly sit still... | He looks like a full westie to me too. But if you know for sure he's a mix I'd have to say maybe schnauzer.

| I had a schnauzer that had natural ears that stood like that. I have seen westies with huge ears before too. I had a friend that raise them and every once in awhile she'd get one with huge ears.

| I think he looks like a Westie. But if he's not, I'm sure he's some kind of terrier.

In a westie the harder the coat the better. A soft coated westie in not desireable.

| He looks all westie to me. Westie's have wiry hair. I love their great personalities but I can't stand the wiry hair. I bathed and groomed alot of westies when I worked at a dog grooming salon and it always bugged me that there hair was so wiry. I guess I just love having a soft dog to cuddle up to.

| I adopted a 6 year old westie about 4 months ago. She is just the sweetest dog. Edie, my Yorkie, is way too busy to cuddle with me, unless she is just dead tired. Breezy (the Westie) is ready to cuddle any time, though. You won't have a hard time finding a home for him. |
