My brother had a few when we were kids and my mom used to rub her gold wedding band on it...I have no idea why but there was something in the gold that helped with the swelling ?? I don't know what to tell you but hope you feel better soon did you get stung by a bee maybe ? |

| it looks like it is swollen right where you'd put eye liner is that right??? might you have gotten some of the wood from the eyeliner stick stuck in your skin?? did you just wake up one morning like this??? (by the way.. i'm no nurse ) but i've also woken up with one eyelid swollen.. i think it was last summer... i don't think i got it looked at and it just went away.. but mine wasn't painful.. sorry i guess i am no help. you might want to get another opinion! |

| It looks like a sty to me. My eye swells just like that before it comes to a head under the edge of my eye lid, some times even going down into my face. the sweeling gets so bad it looks like I have black eyes . make sure to keep your fingers away from your eyes. I have to use ice on mine . I use to work in a candle factory and would sweat and from me always wipeing the sweat from my eyes it would cause a bad sty. |

| Swollen Eye Hi Amber, My advice would be to call your doctor if your eye has gotten worse since he saw you. It is possible that you have had a reaction to the drops that he gave to you. My oldest son's eye looks like yours when he gets a sty.Sometimes they have to give him oral antibiotics. Call your doctor or go to the ER. Susan |

| OOOUUUCCCCHHHHHH! That makes my eye hurt I was going to say pink eye too, I had it last summer and wow does it hurt. Can you call your eye doctor tomorrow? I sure hope you feel better soon. Have you tried putting a warm washcloth on it, that might make it feel better. |

Peeka Boo I See You! Donating Member | he told me to use the drops every 6 hours then he looked at my eye again and then said every 3 hours lol. he said if the swelling goes to my lower lid i have to get in asap. i think i might call tomarrow if it's not getting better. He told me to ice it no heat because it will not take the swelling down. my eye is so raw and the swelling is putting so much pressure on my eyeball i keep getting migraines. agghh i hate this!!

| please, if there's no improvement, go to your doctor first thing in am! This is really strange. A previous poster mentioned that you could be reacting to your drops Do you think that's the case?
