| Sweet n Low V's Splenda.... ok.... I have always used the pink stuff... and I'm shopping with my neighbor last night and as I'm reaching for my box of pink packets, she's like "That has sack something in it!" and I'm like "Yea, and?" and then she's like "You should use Splenda" and I'm all... "Do you use Splenda?" and she's all "yea, I've allways used Splenda".......... Do you see where this is going??? Yea....I bought the Splenda.... I used the Splenda.... I used a TON of the Splenda... its not nearly as sweet?? I think it may take some getting used to... Why am I torturing myself?? is it really that much better for me if I'm using like a thousand times more of it than the pink stuff?? Who has made the switch?? Who has switched back?? Who is still hooked on the pink powder?? Help me out here... Should I stay strong? Stick with the Splenda?? Or ship the $20.00 in Splenda next door? (yea stupid me had to buy the big box of packets and the granulated stuff... whatever, I'm a stocker upper kind of shopper... If I liked it I should have enough to get me through winter! LOL)

| I don't know much about the stuff but both my FIL and SIL are always finding better ways to sweeten up their stuff since they are both diabetic. They did switch to Splenda but now no longer use it. I cannot remember why but she did tell me and can ask if you want. They found something even better. |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | Girl you crack me up. I do PINK. The spenda has its benefits for those who have to watch their sugar intake but I like fast and easy - Sweet n low is fast and easy and you don't need but a little bit but yes - sounds like you're hooked. You may never get over your usage phobia and will probably revert back to Pink |

| I use the REAL Stuff :P I was told by my chef at school a few yrs ago that Splenda was bad for you. SOmething that it has... something that they use in embalming fluid. Thats why you get a lot of gas when you use it. I dont know if its true or not... Just what they told us in the health class I took. They also said that Sweet n Low was shown to cause cancer in rats... They use to have it on the back of the packs... but I have not seen that warning on them in a LONG time... | I did the switch about three years ago when Splenda came on the market. Splenda is "suppose to be made from real sugar" with no chemicals in it. I like it much better than S&L the pink packet. Splenda is more expensive though. I go to Costco's and get 1,000 packets for $17.99. Last for almost a yr. Shoprite sells 200 pks for $6.99! |

| I'm in the Splenda camp. I've never really cared for Sweet and Low, it tastes bitter or something to me. I used to use Equal until Splenda came out.

| Oops- to answer your question, I would switch back to the S&L since you prefer it. There are always studies coming out saying this sweetener is bad or that sweetener is bad and they always contradict each other. I'd guess none of them are great but I doubt any are terrible either.

| I always use Splenda, one packet in my coffee. I also use it for baking, I don't use quite as much as it calls for, I think it's too sweet.

| Add me to the splenda column. I've used it about 3 years now and I really like it in coffee. Since it has no health warnings (yet), I'm gonna continue to use it.
