| Prayers Please For my friend Kristen who had a stroke today while visiting me. It was really scarey and I drove her to the ER,she was embrassed for an ambulance to come here. Kristen is a new friend who I only met about a month ago.She was dating my neighbor who turned out to be a real jerk , she kinda suspected something when she seen him leave for work with a few hygiene items and lounge pants, well he didn't come home all night. (still not home)She came over here this morning about 8am really upset and aroung noon stared saying she felt numb on the left side and also started having chest pains. Kristen also has had parkinson since she was 28. So I'm sure the stress of this guy brought this on. So, please keep her in your prayers. The Parkinson has claimed her right side and now this stroke the left. I had not been in a hospital since losing my Dad a year ago and it was really upseting to me.It really brought me back to losing him. I had to leave after being ther for 4 hours. |

| Oh my gosh, Debi! What a stressful day for you and scary day for Kristen. I'll say a prayer for her...bless her heart! I'm so glad you were there to help her! Thank goodness she wasn't alone! I'm so sorry for the hospital bringing back sad memories of losing your dad. I wonder if one ever gets over losing a parent. Big hugs to you...I know how you feel!

| Your knew friend was lucky you were with her when this happen to her. I will pray she has a quick and easy recovery. I totally understand the flash backs when you where at the hospital. I lost my mom about 9 yrs ago and 3 months after her death I had to have surgery. Well I was at the same hospital where my mom died, same floor, same nurses station, but like 4 to 5 rooms away from the room were she passed away. But anyway hope all turns out ok for your friend.

| Thanks for the prayers. He still isn't home, heck maybe he had a accident or got arrested. But I really think he went out of town to see another woman,I left a mesage on his cell phone saying to please call me I needed to speak to him about Kristen.I have heard back from him. I haven't talked to Kristen this morning,I will go visit her later and take her some things she needs. I will keep everyone posted. Thanks again! |

| poor thing both you and her, i ma glad you got her to a hospital and that she is ok, poor thing i feel so sorry for her, go and give her a huge hug from me the next time you see her, you know shadow maybe we could send her some cards, do you think or she would get offended, not neccesarily offended but you know, we dont know her and yet we know her story, etc, you know but for some reason maybe we could cheer her up, and send her a card or send it to you and you can pass it on to her, just to help her out a little and let her know that despite what this man did to her that there are good people out there and despite having her illness and recent stroke that she is still loved and that people do care about her. but i dont know i feel strong to her and if you let me i would like to send her a card to either you or her, at least i would but im sure many others would also. let me know debi

| Sending prayers for Kristen. How frightening that must have been for both of you. I understand the fear of the hospital - my FIL had a stroke and was in the hospital not too long after my mom had been in with cancer. She was there quite a while and my dad stayed at the hospital with her. I couldn't bring myself to visit my FIL after the first time I went to see him. What you are feeling is very normal. I hope the stroke wasn't a major one and Kristen will be able to continue on somewhat normally, after after giving that guy a boot out the door. Hugs to you both.

| That poor woman, some men just stink! What a frightening experience for both of you. I certainly understand avoiding hospitals at all costs, sounds like we both lost loved ones at about the same time.
