| Ladies I need your suggestions Here I am trying to figure out another year of what to buy my mom for her birthday. My mom and I are super close and this year has been pretty tough for me. I have had a lot going on and my mom being my best friend was there for me through it all. I can not explain how much I need and love my mother. I know it sounds sad being a grown married women but it is just a love I can not explain. I want to really get her something great this year and I am looking for some suggestions. Do you ladies have any ideas for me?

| Hey Caren- you aren't pathetic at all! I'm the exact same with my mom. One year for mother's day I got my mom a gift certificate to Essentials for a mani and pedi and we went together. It was nice because it was a gift and a fun day together. Moms can be so hard to buy for. Good luck!

| Maybe a beautiful charm bracelet...you can make it as simple or as personal as needed w/ a couple of crystal beads or names added...she can keep this forever.....the following link has some great ones..... http://www.cherishedtimedesigns.com/

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Sadly my Mom passed away in March and she was so hard to buy for as she never wanted much. A few months before she died she kept saying to me that she felt so bad that I had to take care of them and she could never repay me. I really didn't want her to feel that way as she had done so much for me, like watching my dtr from 6 weeks until she was 6 years old so I could work full time. So I got a beautiful card and wrote how i felt and how I could never repay her etc. When I was going thru her things the other day I found the card in her nightstand drawer. She never kept cards so I knew she appreciated the card. So I would say put in writing how you feel about her and then get her something personal she would like. Maybe a locket, family portrait.

| I agree with Patti, I think a card with your sentiments to your mom would be very touching to her. Also just recently I ordered 3 stones, something like the one we all got Connie. They have all price ranges and styles and sayings that you can have written on it. The website is www.rockitcreations.com I ordered my stones for my sister's and my birthdays in memory of my mom & dad. Just a suggestion.

I know I really need to sit down and out into words what she means to me. I am so sorry to hear about your mom. It sounds like you guys had a great relationship. The way you spoke about her made me tear up - it was beautiful!!

| I don't know how much she likes jewelry, but I like the idea of a charm bracelet. You could try to find one that has some pieces dangling that would resemble some past times, and you could explain that to her when you give it to her. That seems like it would be pretty special!! I don't know if that's possible, but thought I would give my |

| Arrange for a professional family photograph for her. That's what my dtr's are doing for me when we go down to Myrtle Beach for my youngest's graduation. We are taking them on the beach. I did tell her I went to Hot Topic last nite and picked out the perfect Goth outfit! It'll show up really good against the sand . Another idea - get her a really nice journal and start it out for her with a little something written from each child, grandchild (if any), etc.

| I don't know if you cross stitch, there are many nice "mothers sayings". I made my mom - "a mother holds their children's hands for a while, their hearts forever" - and put it in a nice frame. Sadly she passed away 2 years ago. I am glad you have such a close relationship - I miss having parents. |
