| I'm really dissapointed with YT reaction... There was a thread posted by a YT member yesterday meant as a review of a vendor (also a YT member). I was really disappointed in the rude comments that the original poster received from some members here. Right now if I did a search to look under product reviews, I can pull up at least a dozen threads where someone has been unhappy with the quality of a product frm a vendor, where we as members have supported that person because they didn't get their moneys worth. Yesterday a member posted such review, and about 90% of the people posting were basically trying to make the poster feel bad about her opinion, all because the vendor is a YT member. If this vendor wasn't a YT member, we would all be running with flaming torches (not that I think we should do that, but just making a point). You know what? Any vendors here on YT, are first and foremost a vendor before they are a member. They need to provide honest, and good services to people regardless of memberships or friendships. The OP didn't get good products and didn't get good service, whether or not it was a fluke or the first time or whatever. I myself care about both parties involved but was really upset at how the OP was treated. All I know is the service was not there for her and the YT support for her was not there and I was dissapointed. I didn't start this thread to start arguments but just to say that we should be more supportive of our members first, especially if they got defective products and bad service. She only posted her review as a way to make the rest of the members more aware of the products and service. I have never gotten defective material from this vendor but she had and it was important for her to give us her review of what SHE got, regardless of what we've gotten from this vendor before. Sorry for the long post, I was just really upset that we didn't support our fellow member who was the victim, and she got made to look like the liar and the uncompromising party. I just wanted to say lets be more supportive and realize that any reviews, not just this one, are good for us to hear, whether bad or good because we don't want another member losing out on time and money. We all care about each other which is why this forum exists and why we have the product review section. Ok my soapbox rant is over

| I agree, everyone has a right to their opinion and I think I know what post you are talking about. It isn't fair for the original poster to feel bad about posting their opinions, after all, that is what we all do on here. I remember someone on here once said, when we write, sometimes we come across differently then what we mean because everyone takes the words in a different meaning....so, with that, we all need to pay attention to what we type before we send it.....not that we all can't post our opinions, but we can do so respectfully and with class.

| I am glad you got if off your chest I saw that thread this morning but it was closed. I am very sorry that happened but so confused as to why it had to make it all the way here. I think it would have been easier to just refund the $$ and get that person off your back-I dunno. Hope all was solved though.

| I try and keep in mind that it can not be easy for anyone to put out a bad review. To put themselves out there in order to save one of us the trouble and aggravation that they went through. I don't think they should be judged harshly as they feel wronged in their situation!

| would it help if our review system was different....say for instance..... you would review the customer service aspect w a 5star rating then you would review the product w a 5 star rating meaning 5stars it was great, 1 star meaning it needs some work that way we can see the customer service aspect of it and separate it from the product......and you don't need to put any personal opinions you can give the vendor a place to either thank them or explain the poor rating no one else needs to be involved in a product review (only the buy-seller)....we should not let other yt members comment on something they are not involved with. yt members should only be able to review it...that is all i think this would be a good idea

| I think a rating system would be good. That way, maybe there won't be too much "feeling" in the review....although, a small space for a small comment or something....but a rating of stars would be excellent!!! I can see less of hurt feelings that way too! (maybe)

Donating Member | I totally agree with you...lately I been noticing that YT member take sides when they feel that "a friend" is being badly looked upon when it reality it could be someone review or opinion...I myself have been in the same shoes...and that is why I feel rather on a forum or in person..I will not put 100% of myself in trusting someone...just my opinion...and feeling from the last week or so..

| I think when the member being complained about is also a YT member then they should handle it in private. The seller told her she would get her money back if she returned the items but that was not good enough for the OP she kept on going with it. All I know is someone also posted a thread about theiir good experiences they had with the seller and she went on there and made comments too when does it end. The seller was in tears today because of the good review she got. She seems like a genuinely kind person who didnt need to be raked over the coals

| Again I just want to say I didn't start this thread to get it closed or to cause more arguments, I just wanted to get the point of support across. If a member here is a horrible customer, the vendor has a right to write a review if they want to, so if a customer had a horrible experience no matter who it is, they should be able to post their review. You can decide for yourself if you want to use that vendor but it is the right of the consumer to write a review without getting bashed Chachi while I agree that it should have been handled better privately you also can't automatically assume that what was stated in these posts was what was offered in private. Both parties have been upset by this and the OP got more raked over coals, and I think both members deserve the respect without rude comments. Just because both parties are members doesnt mean it should be hidden and private. I would want to know if a vendor here on YT receives a good/bad review.

| It was not my intention to come across rude although you pointed out that I was. I apologize for that. I completely agree that she had every right to post her disappointment in a review, but it didn't stop there. It was also brought out in other posts, and then again this morning in several posts and now this one. I didn't read the posts as being rude or attacks at the original poster but just surprise that she received something of poor quality from Rena and they offered suggestions as to what may have happened and ways to possibly handle the situation. Since it continues on, to me I perceive it as more of an attack of Rena's ethics and not just the dissatisfaction of her product. I don't blame Rena for feeling embarrassed or becoming defensive. It was just my opinion that the original poster should have posted her disappoint in one single posting and then settled the matter privately with the vendor. Unfortunately when you take it public everyone is going to have an opinion and not everyone is going to agree. My opinion too was just that an opinion, to which I am entitled. Telling me that I was rude doesn't make you any different then those that you are complaining about. It's just an unfortunate situation all the way around and I hope the parties can come to an amicable resolution.
