| Help cleaning the toilet bowl hey guys i was wondering what can you use to take off those nasty toilet bowl rings? my son is in charge of cleaning his bathroom and he was "supposedly" cleaing the toilet and now it has the nasty like hard water ring or you know, so i went out and bought a really course brush that said for bathtub water stains and it came out slightly but its still there, someone else said a pumice stone for like your feet but will it scratch it? any suggestions also if you have any for the bathtub my husband works in the oilfields and the dirt and mud just sticks to the tub and its sooo grosss, it comes off with some comet and abthroom cleaner and alot of scrubbinng and alot of skin rubber off your fingers but is there some way easier to clean it off maybe a stronger cleaner? and also pee smell what can i use to make the pee smell come out, the franks goes outside maybe 85 90 % of the time but i think when he was leanring to go outside his pee spots are starting to rear their ugly head and it smells bad to me, but its like 4 big spots like fav spots, and i need to make that smell go away, my neighbor who has pups said windex but ???? thanks guys

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | I've used 'The Works' for a long time and it's great - let it sit overnight and scrub...When I first moved into this house I had to get in and really clean everything and it made our bathroom look almost new - it's very cheap and most all stores sell it. |

| I just use someones toothbrush.... Really... I use Scrubbing Bubbles on the tub, it's a spray foam, it cleans w/ out scrubbing...it's great! As for the toilet I've used CLR for calcium, lime, & hard water stains.... Pee smell, try vinegar, it stinks also, but the smell evaporates.

| I owned a home in an older town with awful water. The lady who cleaned my house used a pumice stone to get all the discoloration out of the bowl. It takes a little elbow grease, but it works. |

| I also use Scrubbing bubbles i love it now for the hard to remove stain i pour a little ajax on the sponge and wipe away any stains i try not to use it to much because it takes the shine away from the tub. Toilet bowl i use that lysol gel thingy you squirt it on and scrub with the brush and it's nice and clean and smells good too.

| I don't clean toilets, or the bathtub, Hubby does. He's also in charge of the laundry, the sweeper & dusting. He cleaned the tub, when we moved here, with oxy clean and clorox powder. A gallon of hot water, 1/4 c of oxy and a splash of bleach is good for cleaning walls.

| Sure, i'll send him your way. It was real difficult for me to turn over the chores to him. He really enjoys that stuff & once he retired he turned into "Mr Clean". I would be doing the laundry but in this little house the only option for the W & D is in the basement and It's only 5'3" high. I call it the "Shire" and I swear only Frodo and the rest of the Hobbit's could live down there comfortably. With my head injury it's forbidden for me to enter. When I tip my head down i get real dizzy or I bang my head on the rafters. He has a new LG front load washer and dryer to use & a new Dyson sweeper.
