| Had lasik surgery on Monbday I had lasik surgery on my right eye on Monday. I had it about 8 years ago, but the vision in my reading eye (I got one eye done for reading and one for distance) got to the point where I needed glasses. I found the most gorgeous pair, but decided to ask my doctor if I was a good candidate for a lasik redo in that eye. He's a great doctor, and I'm hoping to not need glasses at all. My vision is already better, but not good enough yet to take off the cheap drugstore glasses. He only took out the "bandaid contact" for me yesterday. I'm really nervous about this. I hope it worked! I also can't believe I had the nerve to spend so much money. Wish me luck please, Judy We've been egged |

| Judy, don't EVER feel guilty for spending some money on yourself, especially for your health...I hope all went well & you can toss out those glasses!

| Don't feel guilty Judy - I had lasik surgery done 2 years ago. From the time I was in 7th grade as what what some would call "blind as a bat". I used to have to pay an extra $100 on glasses to get the special lenses otherwise mine would have been as big as coke bottles. But it is the best thing I ever have done for myself and well worth the $3000 it cost. I only wish I had done it years ago. Good luck with your recovery, mine took longer than I expected. I hope you get just the results you want and stop feeling guilty. You are worth it! Theresa |
