| wanna share??? I posted something the other day but I am going to try again does anyone have any patterns for dog clothes or accessories that they would want to share? I am having a heck of a time finding some patterns I got my first sewing machine the other day and am just itching to make something fun for maggie. I have been practicing making little EASY things with some scrap material but I would like to get ahold of some patterns of stuff that I can actually put some thought into. anyone have anything to share????????? pweeeeze???

| If you have a dress you like just put it on a brown paper bag and trace it. Some fabric stores have patterns. I think it's Mccalls or Simplicity but they are expensive.

| i'll have to try that. i do have some clothes of maggies that are a bit too small or too big...and some that could use a little "repair" work on them. so maybe I will start with that and maybe I will learn a little about how they were made. I will try to mimick some of that. I don't have any dresses for maggie...so I won't have anything like that I can trace. Maybe I'll buy one just so I can trace it

| Free pattern Hi- I found this link to a free pattern: http://sewing.circleofcrafters.com/f...stpattern.html I think it is a great pattern to start with & hope you find it helpful. I've used this pattern twice, with a few modifications. Specifically, I lengthened one of the sides so that it wrapped all the way around Lily and fastened on top. I used velcro closures and bias tape for a nice finished look. I also added an appliqu? for decoration, and stitched everything by hand. It was very easy and I am very happy with the finished product. Definitely looking forward to making more! Good luck! |
