| Anyone have a Wheaten Terrier? I think they're so cute! Is it true that they don't shed? Post pics if you have them! |

| I saw one in person for the first time not long ago in Petsmart. I could not get over how cute he was and he was really well behaved.

| I have known 2 families with SCWT and they both have lovely family dogs. Quite energetic, one of them climbs trees!. I was going to get a pup 3 yrs ago and was talking with a breeder in Coldwater Michigan about her next litter. I had done what I thought was pretty good research until.....i mentioned to the breeder that I had 2 Yorkies. She, on the spot, right then, said "I'm sorry, I won't sell you one of my puppies". I was shocked and then she explained to me that after breeding SCWT for over 20 yrs she had one too many reports of them chasing, catching and killing not only bunnies & small animals but also small dogs. She was very kind and I appreciated her honesty. I didn't put it to the test. Instead I found Sunnie. Glad I did.

| I just re-read what i posted. I just said what the breeder said to me. She had a personal experience with a large dog/small dog raised in the same home with a tragic outcome & had learned of others who had had similar experiences. From that she personally chose not to sell puppies to anyone that also had a toy breed in the home.
