| Animal Shelter Donations :) I'm not sure where to put this, but just wanted to see if anyone would be interested in doing this with me! On another forum I'm on, at Christmas time.. we all made up baskets of treats, towels, blankets, food and toys to take to our local shelters to support them and the animals there! We all took pictures of our baskets and some of the animals at the shelter (only if it was allowed) and it was just a really fun, feel good thing to do I was hoping we might be able to get something like that going here since we're all such animal lovers! Please note that the donations do not have to be monetary... volunteering a bit of time is also such a wonderful gift to the shelters! I had such a good time doing it at Christmas.. I made a winter themed basket w/fake snow and tons of goodies. Just the other day I stopped by to see the animals at my local shelter and I saw the saddest little dog w/one of the toys I purchased in his cage and it just warmed my heart that I could help out in even the smallest way If this needs to be moved, please feel free to do so.. I just wasn't sure where it should go |

| Count me in. My only problem with going to shelters is that I want to bring so many of them home with me. They ALL deserve a good home and lots of love. |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | That's so nice of you....I just did a drop off not long ago after talking to JessyRNB2 - she said old tshirts are also welcome too and man I had a bunch that my husband no longer can wear....I would love to be included but am running out of stuff to give away....but think I have some new toys etc still on hand...Chanel knows where I hide them and I've had to put them WAY up high lol - Edited to add....The other thing I just started doing is donating to Fluffy Butts Rescue who is a member here....(missingdigits) ...for each sale I make on my website I turn around and donate to them....my problem lately is hardly any sales but I plan to change that lol

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | ps yorkiegirl - maybe you can share this with your other site - this is a Search bar that you don't have to install - you specify a place to donate and they give a penny for each click to your designated cause...it's really easy to use and you're helping by just doing what we do everyday - searching the net http://www.goodsearch.com/ just click - WHO DO YOU SEARCH FOR? and use the drop down menu - it saves your specified cause and everytime you use it they make a penny which can add up fast if lots of people do it |

| WOW, old tee's that's good to know! I usually collect old towels, and bedding (blankets, sheets, etc.) and donate them to a NO KILL shelter here on Long Island - "Little Shelter" in Huntington. I usually buy a big bag of dog food to bring too! I am actually making a delivery this weekend. |
