Computer help? I've been having some issues with my new security program but finally got them fixed today. But, now that they fixed that problem all of my fonts have changed and I can't get my font size set. I can change it on the page I'm viewing but my tool bar and the bar across the bottom still have tiny font. Does anyone know how to set all of my font so it's easier to read? Even the time in the lower corner is tiny. Do you think it might be a gremlin from all the changes? Maybe I'll turn it on in the morning and everything will be back to 'normal'...ya think? I'm going to need glasses if this keeps up!

Which operating system do you have - Windows? If so, you can change the size you view from the Control Panel. Click on Display and then Settings and at the bottom, click on Advanced. It should be at 96 DPI or greater.

Thank you! I changed it to 120 DPI and things look more like they did before but the font style is a bit different. Oh well, I'll get used to that but that tiny print is just too tiny!

m2bz - you can also go into the Control Panel and select Display and then Appearance. At the bottom is a choice to make the font larger. that will also help.

Yep, I found that one but it was weird...the page was viewing with larger fonts but not my toolbars. I'll probably start this thing tomorrow and everything will be strange!

You can make the page fond larger in your browser by choosing the font size in the View menu. But that's only the browser.

Yah, me neither but the subscription to my security program was running out and I had to renew so that means changes. I hate computer changes and upgrades...things were fine the way they were!

Yep, I found that one too. I have XP and IE 07 so things are a bit different...there's no more file, view etc...on the toolbar now...just page and tools on the right side up top. It's strange.....

You could also try making the screen resolution smaller 800X600 in the Control Panel/Display. I think we've reached the limit of my knowledge about screen size.

Go to My Computer. Then, go to Control Panel. Find and click on Display. There will pop up a box. It has tabs across the top. Click on Settings. In there, you will be able to choose your settings. The control for this is the little slider thing on the bottom left. It might say something like 1280 x 1024 pixels. That is the highest setting and displays things small. Try sliding it over to the left to 800 x 600 pixels. Click apply. This should do it for you. If this makes everything too big, you can choose a higher setting. If youhave more problems, PM me and I will help. Sammi
