| Possibly first time Vendor We always have an AKC Dog show during the memorial weekend and am wanting to sign up to be a vendor. Do people have time to go through the selling booths or is everyone too glued to watching all the shows Does anyone have an experience being in one and any comments/feedback you can share will be greatly appreciated. I wanna know if it is worthwhile to do something like this at a dog show. |

| I dearly love looking at all the wares the vendors have and would be greatly dissapointed if there weren't any there! That's when I do my best buying!! |

| Shopping the vendors is one of the best parts of going to the show! You should have no problems with traffic through your booth, especially with the beautiful stuff you have!

I am sharing a booth at the May Fair 07 in Michigan the weekend of 5/19 and then the local dog show the following weekend so I hope I have enough to sell and people to buy | |

Yorkie Lover Donating Member | You should do very well at both events! You offer a nice variety and there are definately lots of shoppers! We always walk through the vendors at the AKC shows and have yet to walk away empty handed. We spent almost a full year doing art/craft shows and dog events on the weekends and did very well. Often we would have more traffic and buyers than other vendors....as people will spend money on their "babies". The one thing we learned was be prepared inventory wise and have some way for people to order (and prepay). Sometimes we had our wireless internet up and could handle website orders for items we had run out of and also for those wanting to pay by credit card. Good luck!! I definately agree with the suggestion to think of items for the show breeders (items made of satin for show coats)......but also consider breed specific items - as they sell very well from my observations.
