| Tampa Conference 3/21-24-I AM PRESENTING! http://nciia.org/conf07/schedule/fri.html If you look at "Friday 1D" there I am! One of the professors from the School of Engineering asked me to co-present with him and another professor!!!! It all happened so fast and I am so excited! He convinced my boss that I would be an asset and offered to pay for the whole trip so I'm off to Tampa next week! This is a very big deal b/c in my current position we are a very poor department and do not have the funds to do anything of this caliber! I've been waiting for Simon to recover to say anything b/c I would never leave him being sick. The monkeys will be staying at daycare which is right next door to the vet so they will be in fantastic hands |

| Congratulations! I completely understand your excitement. I am a college professor and I have to do these sorts of presentations too. It's nerve wracking for me - but I've grown to get used to it. I really enjoy talking to all the conference participants after the presentation - that is really fun. Even better is to do a poster presentation so that they come by to see your poster and talk to you. Anyway, good luck! Have a great time in Tampa!

| Congratulations, that's fantastic. What an experience. I had the opportunity to address professors at a conference at the University of Michigan several years ago. It was a mind/body medicine study and I went as a guest speaker. Now, I am not a doctor or a professor. I was a patient with a brain injury. No pressure there!

I will be watching the skies and wave as you fly over northern Florida this afternoon. Have a fantastic trip and "break a leg" at your presentation!

| Hi Everyone! I just have a second but wanted you to all know that the presentation went very well and I have been asked to participate in another one this afternoon! I have made so many contacts and met so many wonderful people from all over the world I think the weather in Tampa is nice, honestly I haven't really been outside the hotel since I got off the plane Yesterday the conference was 7am-10pm and today I"ve been at it since 7am! The monkeys are just fine, my mom has called to check on them and she's been watching them on the webcam I can't wait to get home to those little munchkins!!!! |
