| Please Pray For My Son I've never posted in this area before. Please pray for my son, Corbin. He is 15 years old and battles Ulcerative Colitis (pain and bloody diarrhea). He has been flaring since last May and seems to be getting worse the last week of two. Please pray that he goes into remission soon. We don't want to have to resort to the scary drugs or surgery. Thank you so much! Julie |

| What a sad thing to have happen to a young child. Prayer's coming for him to go into remission. I really wish he can get relief soon and do what young boys do. Have fun. Hang in there Mom. It must be so hard for you also to see him in pain. I'll say a prayer for you as well. Carol & Buddy |

| Praying for your dear son. Teenage years are hard enough without a chronic disease to add to the stress. i am so sorry he is suffering. UC is so painful.

| Poor Corbin. Being 15 is hard enough to deal with, but to have to battle something like this is horrible. I feel so bad for him. I pray his system will overcome it and heal on it's own.

| I am so sorry. Such a young age. My DH has that as well. We have finally been able to manage it. He takes 500 mg of Pantasa twice a day. He will be on it for the rest of his live. Good luck! |

| Julie, I am so sorry that your son is going through this. He is in my prayers. I work for a General Surgeon and I know there are great advances in medicine that can help him. Hope he feels better soon!

| Thanks Katys mom. Corbin takes 3 500mg sulfasalazine pills (similar to pentasa) 3 times per day and also 1 mg folic acid, proctofoam HC, L. Ruteria and vitamins. Glad your husband is got it under control. I see you are in Oklahoma, too. Who does he use as a doctor? We use one at Children's hospital in OKC, but when Corbin turns 16 we can see adult GI's if we wish. Thanks again, Julie |

| Thanks for your prayers. I'm glad to hear she has had years of remission. That is what we hope for Corbin. Your mom must of had to take Prednisone. Corbin has been on that twice and we HATE what it does to him and are trying to avoid it!! His face swells up, his legs were covered in angry looking stretch marks, moody, couldn't sleep, not to mention how bad it is on the bones. He has also taken chemo drugs, but they were too hard on his liver and his immune system and we had to take him off of them. Thanks again for your prayers!! Julie Quote:
