| Oh wow, they just reported it but I didn't feel a thing. Maybe I'm too far from the area. I'm just glad you guys are ok. Give the babies kisses for the scary shaking.

| We're ok!! Thanks for asking!! And haven't heard of any reports of anyone that was harmed. Just some people had things fall to the floor and stuff - even grocery stores. Then a nice aftershock and now I read another unrelated quake happened to the north. We've had a few lately huh? We bought this house 2 years ago and I've felt 2 good quakes here, and this house rocks like no other! So scary!! I must be RIGHT under a fault line or something

| I feel the earth move, under my feet...... I am a USGS ENS member and I get all the reports. It seems like we have earthquake activity in spurts. Quite a few all around an area and then quiet for a bit and it starts somewhere else. Here's the report I got on that one: Region: SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA, CALIF. Geographic coordinates: 37.901N, 122.098W Magnitude: 4.4 Ml Depth: 16 km Universal Time (UTC): 2 Mar 2007 04:40:00 Time near the Epicenter: 1 Mar 2007 20:40:00 Local time in your area: 2 Mar 2007 04:40:00 Location with respect to nearby cities: 2 km (1 miles) NE (48 degrees) of Lafayette, CA 5 km (3 miles) WSW (257 degrees) of Walnut Creek, CA 6 km (4 miles) SSW (202 degrees) of Pleasant Hill, CA 10 km (6 miles) SW (224 degrees) of Concord, CA 31 km (20 miles) ENE (63 degrees) of San Francisco City Hall, CA |

Is it just the news reporting that is more intensive, or are we having a huge proliferation of catastrophic weather/natural disaster events?
