I Love Thor Donating Member | probably obvious question Do you hand in an application and/or a resume? Would dropping off an resume be just as good? |

Luvs Lulu Donating Member | Usually a resume will be handed in if it's being sent by another employee but for the most part places require you if you are coming in on your own to fill out an app and leave your resume.

| I think it just depends on the job. Some places want to see a resume via email before you even officially apply.

| If the place you are applying to doesn't specify that you mail it, I would wear something nice and turn it in by hand. It's harder to say NO to an actual person than someone that's on paper. |

| I accept resumes via email but everyone has to turn in a 'signed' application before I'll even do interviews. And true, coming in person, looking professional and eager to work will often get you an interview more quickly - as the office staff will call me right away
