| Requesting Prayer!! I am going to appoligize first for any misspellings and mistypes and for being so long. I normally don't request prayer for myself as I feel there are others who need it more so if this sounds selfish I am sorry. I had my surgery monday. It was a minor surgery on the sinuses. I have been having trouble breathing and constantly got infections and severe migranes from it so the doctor decided this surgery would be great for me. Everything went well, the anstestiologist took extra procaution this time and gave me a different medicine and woke me up slowly this time so for once I didn't have any complications after waking up and I very thankful for that. I got to go home later that night. Tuesday, I went in to have the packing removed. Things didn't go as well as we were expecting. Luckily removing the packing was very short but still very painful in the short time it took. But as soon as it was removed, I started bleeding really bad. So the doctor sprayed some stuff in my nose to numb it and try to stop the bleeding. Well the numbing spray ended up going down my throat as well. He said it wasn't good to swallow the stuff because it would make my stomach really upset, so he wanted me to spit out as much as I could. Then he left to take care of another patient. Then I did something incredibly stupid. The taste in my throat was so bad and was already making my stomach upset that I decided to take some water and try to rinse my mouth out. I accidentally swallowed one drop. I started choking and coulden't breathe. Luckily my mom was in the room and yelled for help. The nurse came running in but didn't know what to do and had to run and get the doctor. He was able to get me breathing again. It was probably one of the scariest things I have went through. I don't know what I would have done if my mom wasn't in the room with me as I coulden't move or speak. So for the most part, the worse is over. But I am still in alot of pain and am constantly on pain meds. By having 5 other surgeries in the past, I have become immune to many pain meds so even the pain meds I am on isn't doing much to help me. And I feel bad for my mom having to once again take on everything as I am not allowed to bend, lift or basically anything else. For a couple hours a day I feel alright but for the most part I feel horrible and am constantly in pain and have severe migranes as well. I was able to typer this during one of my good hours although I am starting ot get another migrane so I will have to get off of here soon and I probably won't be back on for awhile. So I am requesting prayer for a fast and less painful recovery, I just want to start feeling better right away. Just wanted to add real quick, Omega, I hope you get to feeling better soon. My mom had surgery on her shoulder last year so I know it is not something easy to go through. May you have a fast and easy recovery.

| It's terrible that you have to endure such pain for something as simple as a sinus problem. I was lucky enough to be the only person in my family to not have sinus problems and I know how hard it is for them to deal with it. But their's is nothing compared to what you have do go thru constantly every day. I wish there was something that could be done for you so you wouldn't be in so much pain all the time. I'll be praying for you to have a speedy recovery and become pain-free. And I'm sending a big hug and Roxy sends a whole bunch of healing puppy kisses. Take care and God Bless.

| Do not be silly!! You are NOT selfish to ask your friends for prayers or strength!! I believe prayer chains truely work and by all means, allow us, your friends to do this! Prayer is strong! Not being able to breath would be a horribly scary experience!!! So....prayers for a speedy recovery and hope that the worst is over! And no more surgeries!!! Keep us posted hun, we're here for you!!

No Longer a Member | Tracey, I am so sorry you have had to endure this. I have had to watch my daughter in pain most of the time with debilitating migranes for years now, and understand fully about the meds not working anymore. I do pray for your speedy and painfree recovery and please know that my thoughts are with you. |
