| Baby animals! We have had lots of baby animals over the weekend! On Saturday, some eggs that were being sat hatched and we got 3 chicks (out of 4 eggs)- 2 legbarrs (the cream one) and one Maran (the black one). We also had a foal in the early hours of the morning! It is a little filly and she is gorgeous! Need some help with the name though and wanted to ask for some ideas. The naming convention is that as she is a girl, her name must start with the same letter as her mothers. Her mum is called Kashmir, her grandma Kalli, her Great grandma Kandy, you get the idea. Kashmir has had lots of filly foals so kinda running out of K names, we are considering Kaftan, but any input would be appreciated!!! (pics were taken on my phone so sorry if they are a bit poor) |

I have already added it to the list! These names are great! My fiancee's mum is going to Austria today for the Haflinger world show, (I wanna go! Stupid exams!) so she can check and see which ones have already been used and we can all make a decision then!!!! Thanks for all of the compliments, but I did nothing really- all down to Kashmir and Tinky (the mother hen) | |
