| Please pray for my family My parents won't stop fighting, and I don't know what to do anymore. I feel like their fights are always my fault, and I can't take it much longer. Every little thing lead to a fight. This morning, I asked what was for breakfast and it started a huge fight. Ughh I don't know what to do I take Mika out of the house and go for long walks as much as I can, now. I feel like she's the only on in this family who doesn't get mad at everything I say and do.

| *sending a hug* i know it will sound trite.. but it is NOT your fault.. really it isn't... it may feel like it but whatever is going on with your parnets is their issue. Two years ago my mom was really depressed for the whole year (she had to work far away from us... felt my dad didn't understand. blah blah blah) and i know how you felt.. i tried to just stay out of their lives and i felt very alone ... like no one knew what was going on with me... and i hated having to talk to her in case whatever i said set her off... so i just avoided them both.. you are lucky to have your pup.. i didn't have layla then.. hang in there.. my situation got better... i hope that yours will to. PM me if you need anything sounds like we might be around the same age! i'm 23 |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | You poor kid - have you really talked to your parents ?? I mean call a family coinference and sit them down and tell them how you feel ?? I feel bad for you - sometimes parents don't realize how much it does affect kids when they fight - especially over dumb stuff....there is probably more going on than what they're arguing about but you need to know - it IS NOT YOUR FAULT. Good luck and try what I said - OR you could write it all in a letter and leave it for them to read. Believe me - GUILT works wonders especially if they really don't know they're hurting you by fighting so much. and ps - if you write them that letter - you can say everything you want without being interrupted AND say things you may feel funny saying to their faces. It's hard to do but it may just get their attention and make them stop and think next time |

| Oh sweetie I am so sorry that you are going through rough times with your parents. It's not your fault at all. Don't feel guilty. There seems to be major problems between them. You need to tell them how it makes you feel when they fight. Is there another family member you are close to that you can confide in and talk about it too. Your parents need to be made aware that their fighting is causing you pain. I hope things get better for you but please find someway to tell your Mom and Dad how they are hurting you and that you feel it's your fault. When they hear it hopefully they will understand and make it better for you. Carol & Buddy |

I would never in a million years hurt my boys and didn't....but yes - it would work for ME if my own child felt the need to do this. it really would. It would make me cry for them - but it would really make me think and that's what you want. | |

| Sweetie, sometimes parents are so focused on their own pain they can't see anyone else's. I hope things get better for you. And their fighting is not your fault. When there is a lot of anger simmering, anything and anyone can set it off.
