| Poor Pup got electrocuted while walking in NYC This is so sad a dog walker was walking three dogs and one stepped on a manhole cover and was electrocuted. The dogwalker tried to give him (Bob) mouth to mouth resuscitation but it didnt work. So sad watch your little babys when walking them in this horrible weather it was a Boston Terrier he was only 1yr old. here's the link http://www.nytimes.com/2007/02/15/nyregion/15dog.html A pet store already offered to give her a free dog.

| That's horrible.. and scary. Wonder how that happened and if a person would have stepped on it if it could have shocked/killed them?

| That poor dog I remember hearing something about that in NY over a year ago so I guess it's not the first time it has happened. When I first heard of that, I only had Max at the time and he'd always been so afraid of manhole covers and those huge metal coverings on sidewalks that he would avoid them whenever we walked in the city...I was thankful that he avoided them like the plague.

| That is so incredibly sad. I was always paranoid about walking over them and never let my dogs walk over them either. Now I know that there was a good reason to be paranoid. |

| That poor dog. How awful that such a thing could happen. I hope the party responsible for this pays a price for this unnecessary accident. Carol & Buddy |
