| I have the Dyson Animal (its purple) i love it Costco sells it (if you have one by you) you can try and return it no questions asked if you dont like it. I try to buy whatever I can from Costco because of their return policy is GREAT.

| My daughter has the Dyson and she says it is the best vacuum she has ever had. She has 3 dogs and a persian cat! It really keeps the hair picked up! I have hardwood floors, so I'm no vacuum expert!

| I also have the purple dyson dc14 (animal) and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. I tried a few cheaper vacuums before buying the dyson. I didn't want to pay so much for a vacuum but I ended up returning them and I broke down and bought the dyson. The suction with the attachments is great and it picks up everything. The best part about it--for me especially since I have a bad back--is that it's so LIGHT compared to the other vacuums out there. It's worth every penny

| We LOVE our Dyson! It picks up incredible amounts of dust and other allergens. It is well worth the extra expense initially - we recommend it highly!!!

| Dyson and Hoover steam Vac, highly recommended ... Quote:
I have the Dyson (purple one) and a berber carpet (New York berber I suppose) ... it is great ... and if you want something for the steaming ... go with the Hoover Steam Vac ****SteamVac Heated Carpet Cleaner with Clean Surge Hoover F5914-900 Powered Hand Tool for stairs and upholstery Powerful 12-amp motor; deep cleans with hot tap water and carpet solution Five spinning/scrubbing brushes clean carpets, upholstery, bare floors Clean Surge feature gives extra burst of cleaning solution for spots or stains Two water tanks separate clean from dirty water Brush rotation indicator; three attachments; 8-foot hose ***** This steam vac is EXCELLENT!!!!! I have a beige berber carpet! and it looks NEW!!!

| Ooooohhh....I just bought a new vaccume cleaner yesterday! I was so excited...I've been saying I was going to get a new one for a year. (I'm wierd, this is nothing new) I had vaccumed just before I left and when I got back, I vaccumed with the new one and you wouldn't believe how much the other one left behind. Anyway, it's a Bissel, bagless...168.00 at Lowes...The neatest part is it has a handle in the center that if you grab, the whole 'middle' part comes out and you can take it to your car. Anyway, it works GREAT! |

| What model? I am also in the market for a new vacuum. What model Dyson Animal is everyone using? Is it the 07 or 14? I see they both have purple (the 07 more purple). Has anyone ordered one of the reconditioned ones online? They have some for $399 at overstock.com -- just am not sure about that reconditioned idea.
