Mine was ice too!!! I would go to McDonalds and just ask for a cup of ice. I was still living at home and I would go into the ice box and try to dig out ice chips. It drove my Mom nuts so she started chipping ice and putting it in a little container for me.

With my first daughter it was jalepeno peppers stuffed with tuna fish salad. With my second daughter it was just mexican food of any kind. I didn't crave anything with my boys that I can remember.

| Peanut butter fudge sundaes from a little privately owned dairy store in the next town (this was 32 years ago). That was my only real craving. And that was like a nightly thing. I have never found a sundae like it since then.

I craved ice too! During the last 2 months or so (I am told that happens with low iron levels) I mean I would pull it right out of the freezer and munch away...my tounge would be frozen and numb, but I'd still be chomping on it. I have to admit, that was strange and so was liking the way certain things smelled....like new carpet, new tires, gasoline, magic markers... I also went through a Cocoa Krispies phase...I'd eat close to a box a day, breakfast llunch and dinner. (And really, I don't even LIKE them. ) That lasted about 2 or 3 weeks. I also liked cold stuff...cheese, cold lunch meet, etc I also went through a Vinegar and Salt chip and Cherry Icee phase right when I found out I was expecting, followed by a Taco Bell Enchirito phase.

Ice was a biggie for me too. I would go by the shaved ice stand and get like 5 cups at a time "no syrup please". The lady would just laugh..... I'd take each cup as it was handed to me and dump it in a 2 quart cooler. Finally, one day she said "Why don't you just give me the cooler and I'll fill it up" There is acutally a disorder in pregnancy called PICA. It is where you eat ice or frost. (first named back when freezers weren't frost free). It can also be where you eat starch. If I remember right, as long as you don't take it to extreme and eat healthy otherwise, it is ok. However, if you eat TOO much ice, it can make you anemic. I would suggest you do share this craving with your Dr, so they can keep an eye on your bloodcount.

Oh I forgot mustard. I would send my husband to Subway and tell him all I want is a ton of mustard and the bread, nothing else! He would get so annoyed with me. He's like you can make that here, I am not telling them that. You can take off what you don't want.
