| I have noticed the same thing. I dont think people with small dogs walk them as much as people with larger dogs. We have a canal walk ten minutes from my house and a park two minutes from my house so I walk My dogs in both of those places and the only people i ever come accross walking their dogs are people with large dogs

| Same here! We really do not have any dog parks, but plenty of parks in town. I walk Mojo, but I am very leary of small kids and big dogs! Too, we mainly walk on our own hiking trail or at one of our national parks (because we live right next to it), so Mojo only walks very little on these trails -- only because of the snakes/ticks, etc. Mojo actually gets along well w/ big or small animals......but, he rarely sees another small dog unless it is at a craft fair, farmers market, etc.

| Post an ad in the newspaper, in Vet. offices, groomers and pet stores asking for people with small dogs to join in on a doggie-play date at your house once a week. I have play-date at my house and I take them to another play date. It works out so good. |
